democratic colorado congressman jason crow reacts to that in a moment, but first brian brenberg, f foxiness latest inflation data out earlier today. what do you see in the numbers? >> let me give you something, you talk about the feelings versus the numbers. why the feelings don't match up, you have some price increases that are hard to substitute away from. shelter, housing is one of those come up 22% since january of '21. you got to live somewhere, you need to rent or buy a house. energy, got to power the house, just no good substitute come up 28.5%. auto insurance, you hit the road, you've got to ensure your car. this number, 54.7% increase since january 21. out on the road, sometimes you have to feed the family, food on the road, 22.9% increase in january 2021. my point is it's hard to get away from these. you can change what you buy at the grocery store, but you can't change electricity. you can't change the fact you got to ensure your car. you can't change the fact you have to have someplace to live. people don't have to fix that in their budget and it is hurting them. >> bill: t
