[cheers and applause] before we advance to the hall of liberty awards, let me note that the committee had a very difficult time deciding among many splendid nominees. in fact, one of the great joys of being the chair of this committee and being on the committee is we were informed about so many great libertarians who are doing great stuff. i suspect many of those who were nominees this time around who were not named, we will be seeing them in the very near future. [applause] the hall of liberty was established in 2012 by the libertarian national committee. as you will note, it honors significant achievement that has been made in terms of a lasting effect on the party as well as the libertarian movement. this differs from the original jefferson award, which was for lifetime achievement. in 2012, there was a change to bring about the whole of liberty, which broadens the type of contributions to the libertarian movement, not just the libertarian party. so far, 19 libertarians have been i
