how do americans feel about liz cheney?> we are in a great country where someone could have the second worst defeat in a house primary in the last 60 years and potentially float themselves as a third-party candidate two years later. she lost by 37 in the wyoming house primary, the second worst defeat in the last 60 years in the house primary. let's look nationally. national views of liz cheney last year, a tremendous gap. she is popular among democrats, 62% favorable rating. among republicans, of course, a former republican congresswoman, 12%. this is something we have seen in the polls over and over. despite her gop affiliation she is better liked by democrats. >> slide number one, which is cold-blooded to lay that out in detail. how do americans feel about a potential third-party liz cheney run? >> this was asked earlier this year. we don't have polling up to date. according to liz cheney third-party bid for president, very large partisan flit. 15% of democrats say they support it versus 8% of republicans. and this i thin

do you think some of liz cheney's claims about what a threat trump's are overblown? >> no, i understand what he is trying to convey when he says he doesn't want to sound like an alarmist. but i think we have to look at what trump is saying, and pay attention closely. his call for doing our parts of -- he said that he wants to rig this country of people he deems vermin. he says that he wants to weaponize the doj to attack revenge on his political enemies. and so, i would encourage people who think that we sound like alarmist when we are saying that democracy is at stake, if trump were to be elected again for a second term. that you have to pay attention to his own words, because he is saying these things. and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be penetrating through to the public. and i think that's in large part because his campaign is actually kind of adopted, a basement campaign strategy circa joe biden's 2020 campaign. and they actually kind of have shielded him from public view, and have been a lot more strategic with his appearances. and so, i think that as we ge

i think liz cheney makes a great point.s to what trump is actually saying. i do think that we have become a little desensitized to the things that he says. they have always been a little crazy, or bombastic. his rhetoric has really changed ever since he lost the 2020 election. i think something in him broke. his grasp on reality has not been there. he has been saying things, calling for the execution of milley. he says he wants to do away with parts of the constitution. he wants to rig this country of people that he sees as vermin. i think those kinds of things are really concerning. that is what a second trump presidency would look like. it would be solely focused on retribution and enacting revenge on people that he sees as his enemy. >> axios is reporting the opposite of seeking revenge because he will have trump loyalist likely to get cabinet positions if he were to return to the white house. the trump campaign is pushing back with a memo asking allies to stop pushing on what a future trump presidency could look like. b
