fox weather is max gordon, though. saw the real thing. the total eclipse. you're in cleveland, ohio. and before you describe what it looked like, i'm curious what did it feel like? max >> yeah, well, it was an incredible experience. first off, this all happened just about a half hour ago. and what i was surprised by was how quickly the light dwindled and disappeared. and all of a sudden it felt a whole lot cooler and all around us, 360 sunset. it was an incredible experience. i've never experienced anything like this. i went to the annular eclipse down in albuquerque, new mexico, back in october. in that experience, you had to keep the eclipse glasses on the entire time. you couldn't look at the sun with the naked eye or risk damaging your eye. but this one for about three minutes and 49 seconds, you could actually take off the glasses. and it was incredible. it was literally a ring of fire in the sky. there was actually a solar prominence that i noted on the southern edge of the sun. it looked like a little outcropping there where where it looked like fire

and, fox weather is max gordon is in cleveland. this morning with the excitement as the eclipse will be making its way through that part of the country as well. >> hey. good morning. yeah, we are in the path of totality here in cleveland, ohio. we're at total eclipse fest or what will be total eclipse fest as more people start to come on in here, it is still pretty early here in cleveland as well, but there are some concerns about cloud cover at the time of the eclipse. you can see it's kind of wet on the pavement right here, and we had some rain this morning and the clouds are still lingering. let's give you a look at kind of how things look in downtown cleveland right now. we're expecting about 60% cloud cover at the time of the eclipse. and that is going to begin at 1:59 p.m. that's when the moon is going to start to cover the sun. and then we're going to have totality at 3:13 p.m. that's going to last for three minutes. and 49 seconds. that is when the moon will be fully covering the sun. that's when it should get pretty dark.
