so max miller decided to donate to santos when he was a congressional candidate. miller is jewish and saud he thought at the time he was supporting another jewish candidate because as you remember, santos lied about being jewish. but earlier this year, miller learned that santos had charged his credit card and his mother's credit card above the legal limit, thousands of dollars more than what they authorized and without their knowledge. and miller had to spend thousands of dollars in legal fees clearing it up. manu raju the caught up with him. here's what he had to say. >> this is just another example of republican who is can't lead. and that's really shameful. the speaker and everyone in leadership knows that this man is a crook. santos took not only my credit card personally, he took my mother's credit card personally, and he swiped them both for an additional $5,000 marking it as on overdonation. i have it by the fec. what i can tell you within in document, i won't disclose any other names, he defrauded 350 people for hundreds of thousands of dollars on undies

i get a text message from him responding to a accusation that we were talking about from max miller, congressman from ohio has accused santos of defrauding him. saying he was defrauded as a campaign donor and george santos swiped him and his mother's cars for thousands more extra dollars and he spent thousands dollars with attorneys trying to deal with the aftermath and it cost him roughly $30,000 k. we asked for comment. and miller sent a letter to all of hi colleagues moments before the vote and george santos responded to that in that text message to me. he said i never had access to his card or his mothers. that was the last minute lie, they came up with to swing voters. he thought that -- santos thought it moved minds. he thinks this could have cost him his expulsion. the final allegation. maybe it is the straw that broke the camel's back. but miller is standing by this. he said show me one thing that george santos has told the truth about since he's run for office. george denies everything but the evidence speaks for itself. you are tracking this vote very, very closely. >> yeah
