nela gonzalez, coexecutive director. i'm here to share the process that we use today develop the aspiration statement. so we worked with the consultant and the process took about six months to create a statement. it was supported by one treasure island, the treasure island authority and t id g. we received on going feedback and infut from the community through multiple processes. we developed a community work group that consist fromed treasure island, tida, businesses and residents of treasure island. once it was created, we presented tt tieda board and tigd board for feedback. we then created a survey which we distributed for three months on the island, it was virtual and paper and in multiple languages. we received 127 response sxz with minimum suggested adaptations for the statement which we made. our next step and now i would like to read the statement. so the aspiration statement was developed through a community process, treasure island development group and treasure authority. our vision is to create a thriving sa
