i'm ken wayne and i'm noelle bellow. that shooting happened during a house party in richmond. 3 people were killed. 4 others were hurt today. contra costa county's district attorney. >> announced the conviction of enrique ramirez. from oakland on 3 counts of first degree murder and 4 counts of attempted murder along with gang and other special circumstance enhance prosecutors say the suspect and an 18 year-old man opened fire on a group of partygoers back in june of 2021. investigators say the attack was fueled by mistaken identity and gang rivalry. ramirez is scheduled to be sentenced next month. he faces life sentences without the possibility of parole. the 18 year-old has been charged as a juvenile in the south. a construction worker is being treated for burns tonight after coming into contact with a power line 40 feet in the air. >> the incident also left thousands of people without power in san jose. jose fire says 2 men were in a bucket lift which was operating near the intersection of zang corroded the lazio stree

i'm grant lotus and i'm noelle bellow. it has been raining for days now. like you saw in that first video >> the waters just collecting on our city streets conference. chief meteorologist lawrence karnow is here. he's got a little bit more detail on when we're going to be able to say, ok, it's over. i wouldn't that be nice. a lot of folks waiting for that to happen. that's for sure. this actually all part of the same storm system. >> that started to bring rain in the bay area on sunday continuing to produce some of those showers that low staying anchored off the coastline and wrapping that moisture in and bring it into the bay area. still, the cloudy skies beginning to part just a little bit. lot of heavy rain as we move toward the middle of the day in the afternoon. but now that begin to move on out. you can see that low spending the north grabbing some more of that moisture bringing that onshore. numerous thunderstorms with the instability popping up all along that path as it came ashore. and so that was able to produce a lot of rain around the bay area.

i'm noelle bellow, a man from florida in custody tonight accused of stealing that aircraft and then landing it just south of poplar beech kron. 4 sarah stinson has the details. >> the san mateo county sheriff's office says luis, gustavo eris stole a plane from the palo alto airport and landed nose down in the sand just south of here and half moon bay. several people were enjoying the sunset at poplar beech and saw the plane go down. fully. no one was hurt. on thursday night around 5, the san mateo county sheriff's office got a call. they don't get every day a stolen plane landed just south of poplar peach and half moon bay. i've been doing 20 years. and this is a first for me. sergeant javier acosta says when deputies arrived, they found a single engine plane nose down in the sand. deputies quickly learned the plane was stolen from the palo alto airport. acosta says several people witnessed the landing. someone saw the person walking away from their plane. >> provide us a detailed description and we found that person within minutes. a 50 year-old man from miami-dade county, florida was arre
