longer the most republican county and the state, it's like 44th in terms of the size of the republican margins it generates. so these are huge changes in what we thought of for a long time as hallmarks of wisconsin politics. they are also changes in which the state is becoming more like the nation as a whole. and it is starting to conform to these national trends but they are happening later and they are more jarring because it wasn't that long ago that democrats were unusually competitive with rural voters and republicans worked unusually strong with suburban voters at least in southeastern wisconsin. so that has had a big impact on the electoral math in wisconsin. if you compare our 2004 map to our 2020 map, at the top level it's almost the same election. democrats won this election for president by 11,000 votes and they won this election by 20,000 or 21,000 votes. but look at the map. all these counties that were blue are mostly red. and then you see the reddening of the map in north and central wisconsin. and then also outside of milwaukee, washington county is still pretty red, bu

all republicans, why should they be why right? but perhaps come on. the harris can, the po, joe, but some of those vote to segments that we've seen is leaning towards donald trump . i'm very excited about biden stepping aside, largely because i think it's now time to get back to a racist on substance entirely. you know, identity politics certainly rule the day in the united states when it comes to our elections, whether at the state level, sometimes that but certainly at the federal level, we're seeing more of it, but it's hard not to get excited when you see somebody like yourself emerge is the front runner for an office that they've never, nobody liked them has ever been before. you know, it's certainly an interesting and exciting prospect to see perhaps the 1st of female president and the 1st woman of color to be president in that very same. it's just exciting, but again, this is about what these people can do to better our lives. and so many americans across many demographics were feeling that joe biden wasn't speaking to the problems of the day.
