let's bring in our meteorologist rob mayeda. rob, what's in store for tomorrow? >> most of the rain hanging on through the afternoon but the last of the rain with storm number one, storm number two moving down from the pacific northwest bringing wind, go there and rain with higher totals tomorrow. noticed the map behind me. the green and yellow would be 1/3rd of an inch to 1/2 of an inch to the coastal mountains is based hills. about triple the rainfall. today's rain heavy light rain at times and more rain coming into tomorrow. more wind is you come out to the coast and because of about 30 to 40 miles an hour at times and rain and wind at times and on top of that we have became tides returning. depending on where you are you may be alerted to a flood advisory and that is due to the king tides which reached their peak this time of year and it is wednesday through friday but unlike the high tide pattern of two weeks ago it is not being coupled with a high surf warning. you have the astronomical high tides warning and they are not as extreme as what they saw on the

let's check with rob mayeda. >> no rain in the forecast for monday, but visibility may be an issue depending on where you are. clear view looking back to the bay bridge near san francisco. but dublin now beginning to see low clouds on the increase. this is what we're watching. areas of patchy dense fog. rain does make the comeback on tuesday. then more rain chances later this week. it's pretty good around the bay area, but by tomorrow morning if you're in the north bay valley toward the tri valley and concord and san jose, we could see patchy dense fog to start the morning with overcast skies and highs tomorrow in the 50s to low 60s. on the horizon, we've got clouds out here to the west, which will lead to the first of a few rain chances this week. this is midday tuesday into early wednesday morning. could see about a quarter continue to half inch of rain around the bay area, followed by even more rain and the potential for heavy, high-elevation snow, starting friday into next weekend. we'll take a look at that, and the impact it might have on the big divisional playoff next saturday. that f

meteorologist rob mayeda is here. >> marin, about an inch.ree inches of rain has come down already. for the north bay, as we head north from the golden gate bridge. that is where you are running into the downpours now. close to half an inch of rain. you can see why that is where the more substantial rain is the peak of the wind and rain dropping out of the north bay the next hour, on its way down to the south bay, we will see rain totals increasing between 6:00 and 11:00. flood watches continue for mendocino and lake counties along the russian river. overnight around 2:00 a.m. briefly touching flood stage at hopland. and then quickly dropping as we go through the day sunday. and the rain will start to move out. top rain totals right there on the coastal mountains. santa cruz mountains. rain rates come up before midnight. san jose, trivalley not likely to see anything more than maybe a quarter inch of rain. here is a look at the wind speed. we will see less wind and less rain in our sunday and monday forecast. so we'll catch a bit of a break.
