i'm gonna bring in captain robert foxworthy with cal fire here. talking with us and joining us this morning. can you kind of just tell us where you're at right now, what the next steps are for today? >> so currently as of this morning, we're at 1100 acres, 20% contained. so like you kind of touched on, the crews did fantastic work overnight, put in a large amount of control line, basically kind of stopped the forward progress of the fire overnight. and we're hoping that those crews can continue to put that strong work in. and we don't have any additional growth of the fire throughout the day. >> we've got one here in sonoma county. we've seen several others in the east bay, one large one burning down in la, a lot of it also just kind of coming up this past weekend. can you kind of talk about how this weekend maybe speaks to what the rest of this fire season might look like? >> so we've been pushing this message for a while now. we received considerable amount of rain over the winter. and with that, we have a large amount of grass and fuel that's a
