in the wild after weeks of rehabilitation in the international bird rescue released eight birds and sausalito near the golden gate bridge today, a group of 25 pelicans are among the 100 that have been returned to the wild. rescuers say the birds were starving and disoriented when they were found, but they believe that they are finally ready to survive on their own. the alameda county fair kicks off today in pleasanton. there will be rides, food, live music, horse racing and shows. that includes the new canine stars stunt dog show. it features a world class team of dog trainers and their pups. they've been seen on several tv shows, including america's got talent. here's something you may surprise you all the dogs in the show are rescues. truthfully, any dog has potential. they're all very talented in their own way. we just meet each dog from a shelter and take a look at what they might be best at. you can catch all the stunt dog action at the alameda county fair through july 17th. now i have a dog rescue dog myself. she's got a special talent which is barking at things that nobody else can see
