thanks, shannon.ch edson is in south carolina, where ron desantis had been campaigning after the iowa caucuses. uh, what's the word there, rich? well, arthel the desantis campaign had moved the majority of its staff to south carolina well before the new hampshire primary had even happened. when it's supposed to happen on tuesday, here he was making a play for this state. he thought that the voters here would be much more receptive. the republican base would be much more receptive than that in new hampshire. but there have been questions, really, since the iowa caucus results came in and the polling leading up to it as to whether he was going to sustain this campaign all the way through the south carolina primary, which is about five weeks from now. so there were a number of questions as to what exactly he was doing in this state. just a couple of days before the new hampshire primary campaigning here, when you had all of that time, a lot of the analysts were saying that this is a way to say that, well
