of all of you, my dears, of course, i do not have the opportunity to have information about each of you personally, but i know how much you do all together. you today you are responding, among other things, to the question of a modern rather utilitarian secular society, which often asked questions, well, they walk around, they cross their foreheads , but what’s the point, and what are they doing such a thing, especially this criticism was for us such, well, what called scalding, in soviet times, when it was by law. you couldn’t go to a hospital or a prison, you couldn’t go to difficult-to-educate children , you couldn’t go to the elderly, you couldn’t go to anyone, you could come as a private person, and then often priests who needed to give communion

use of these opportunities, in each diocese we give the importance to this good deed, which we call social work. but in the dioceses , yes, because, well, our rulers are enlightened and ideological people, convinced, and i know that they pay attention, including to this kind of activity. but if we go down to the parish level, then unfortunately, not everywhere and not always we can find real parish virtue, even if it is called social work, so this congress, i think, our communication should be aimed at ensuring that social the work of the church, good deeds on behalf of all believing people, were carried out everywhere, in
