hurricane hunters. they send back a lot of information. they help us update the forecast. that's what it looks like. here's the satellite picture showing the center has a khr*usr of thunderstorms around it. it's a little slightly better organized now. it's not expected to intensify much it may not make it to a hurricane put still it's 65 miles per hour. that's very strong tropical storm and it's moving north, northwest now at 10 miles per hour. these are all plots at the center of the storm and what we can see here is pretty good agreement that lit eventually town the northeast moving over louisiana then heading for alabama and pensacola, florida. than must be the area that could see the brunt of the storm it could be anywhere between and that's why you see this track from louisiana to florida. timing is 7:00 saturday evening

d.c.is a high security area. i did gate chance to seem of the -- i did get a chance to see some of the video it looked like they had her stopped and had their guns drawn. they did not fire shots at that time. so at the time they did fire those shots, it was the last resort. no police officer wants to ever shoot in to a movinging vehicle. especially when there's a child. we don't know what the police could see. you have to imagine that it they probably looked in side. had to use deadly physical force to stop that vehicle. this time in the day at 2:00 in the afternoon, the district of columbia, there's tourist, protestors and a vehicle weighs between 3,000 and 4,000 pounds. a wreckless driving vehicle is a deadly weapon.

hurricane and tropical storm watches are now posted for southeast louisiana to florida. the tropical "karen" moves through the gulf. the storm is still 400-miles out and the winds are 65 miles per hour it prompted the federal government to recall the government shut down. a woman from connecticut has been identified of the black car that led police on a dramatic chase through the tphaeus' natis capitol it ended with the police firing gunshots outside of the capitol. >> reporter: it was is this the black sedan steen speeding away from the house that police tried to stop. >> an authorized vehicle attempted to gain access at an outer perimeter checkpoint of the white house. beyond that, there are multiple other checkpoints that the woman would have to go through. >> reporter: no shots were fired oh the white house but the car
