today, was another bloody day in egyptian. street violence killed 51 people, more than 260 seriously hurt. most of the fight was between security force an people who oh support the president mohammed morsi. they tried to march on tahrir square but stopped by police who used tear gas and guns. pro-military demonstrators gathered. they were celebrating the 40th anniversary from israel. we have more but can't name the correspondent because of security reasons. >> reporter: dun town cairo on sunday. a day for celebrating the military. instead it's gun tpaoeurbg gunfs and civil unrest. across cairo, protestors took to the streets. some tried to march on tahrir square. the symbol of resistance from

january 2011. but on the surrounding streets, security was tight. in places, police used tear gas to control the crash. anti-military protectors against what they consider to be an illegitimate government. >> the streets are full of people which are against this killer and we will do our best inshallah. >> we are all the muslim people. all the egyptian people. we are all one human. okay again. >> reporter: but tahrir square painted a different picture. forming a center of celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the 1973 october war with israel. for hours the crowd tried to get through security checks in to the square.

demonstrations are to begin tuesday in cairo with major protest again at tahrir square this friday. now al jazeera spoke about the muslim brotherhood in egyptian. specializes in political history of the middle east. >> hard liners in the military and some of the civilians want to marginize the muslim brotherhood to go pack to a period like the 1950s or '60s where it was an under ground movement and there are others i think the prime minister who recognized that it's a large enough group that you can't completely exclude it from politics. they believe the brotherhood is sectarian and will try to take over everything unless some type of block is put there. military is extremely popular. government of mohammed morsi,

the brotherhood president had declined rapidly in popularity last spring. the economy is not doing well. there are human rights issues. there's the feeling of the brotherhood take over everything. military today announced that people who demonstrate against it were foreign agents. what's the revolution stood for in 2011 was the people should have freedom of assembly. there's been a step back on that ground. however, a lot of egyptians are willing to make allowances because they feel that when the brotherhood was in power, it also enter feared with people demonstrating and mobilized to repress them, som sometimes kill them. from the point of view of the young activists who want a new order, is it possible that both of their houses, there's a third square movement. but as far as i can tell, a lot of egyptians are with the

military on this one. >> i think there will be new elections winter or in the spring. i think everybody understands that that must happen. the question is the circumstances. if they try to hold those elections in such a way as to exclude a significant proportion of the elect which is the muslim brotherhood supporters then the elections won't solve anything. so, they have to find a way to include. that's not their present instrict. there's outrage in libya after a steal captured a top al qaeda leader living in that country. he was caught outside this home in tr ipo li. as part of two u.s. special forces operation pursueing tar targets in libya and somalia. the sales went after put failed to capture the leader of the al

did they seem to go without a problem there in china? >> reporter: they moved everyone before the storm hit. that's been many hundreds of people die because of the water. the rainfall and the landslide that effect many of the farming and mountain mous ous regions. they did go in and sent more than 50,000 troops in and moved people out before this event happened. so far we haven't seen or heard of any loss oh of life. several people are missing. >> thank you. the storm made land fall. it's disappearing rapidly. look at the satellite image.

let's go back a couple hours. there's the storm to north of taiwan making its way on land. you can see not a lot of the enhanced clouds are left. the biggest problem that we're going to see is the second typhoon. this is. hind it. i want to take you closer end. this is from the japanese agency. this is their radar coming out of oak th inawa. they are seeing it out here. it's a very small but powerful storm. it the storm is going to go to the northwest and to the northeast. it has not yet started to make that turn. we will watch this carefully.
