government, at are in -- in order here in the house of representatives. there is a hard core of conservatives tea party affiliated conservatives who say that anything that is done to allow some of the 11 to 12 million people in this country illegally to stay here is amnesty. others of course call it a path to citizen ship, the president pressed his advantage and made his case. >> everybody knows that our political system is broken. it is not mart to invite some of the brightest minds to study here, and then not let them start businesses here. we send them back to their home countries to start businesses and invent new products someplace else. >> if you look at the coalition behind this, and what the president wants to do, business leaders ink colluding the

chamber of commerce, labor leaders including the a.f.l.c.i.o., evangelicals not usually in his corner, the house speaker out with a statement today, saying they want to have some sort of immigration reform, but they aren't going to pass a big bill, it is just too controversial in the house of representatives, because the party is tennis on this. rather the speaker wants to pass this in a piecemeal fashion, after that the sky is the limit, you can do anything if you get the house and the senate together. but it is still a long way before they get to that step. >> meanwhile, republicans also taking aim at two obama administration over the healthcare website. the other issues since they fission went online

saying that they feel that they were prepared, they did adequate testing but the problem really arose when the four companies tried to integrate their systems. there hadn't been adequate testing done to see if those four would work together, and the fact that was when it was rolled out it didn't work at all. and so the blame that these contractors say falls with the obama white house, that they in fact, informed the administrators at health and human services that perhaps this system was not ready to two, there should be delay in the roll out, but it maltly the decision was made by the obama administration to keep on going. but at the same time, this has been used as a spring board for republicans as well as democrats to pinker once again. of course we know this shut down, only a week pass was about delays the president's affordable healthcare act.

another six weeks and making sure they are compliant. >> kimberly, thank you very much. meanwhile, in an effort to provide more transparency, the obama administration releasing a plan of action to fix the website and it's issues. topping the list of problems high internet traffic, what is causing they say the major delays for visitors to the site. health and human services saying that increasing band withwill 2006 that problem. some also say they found it difficult to simply create an account, and response the architect of the website says the architecture is now going to be changed making it easier for visitors to navigate and find answers. and some of the sites visitors say they want to be able to compare plans without creating an account first. so teams have provided new tools to this can preview any information before they apply for the coverage. canada's largest technology company, is the one that designed and built the healthcare website.

it's senior vice president was one of those testifying on the hill today. as daniel reports the company has worked with the canadian government and healthcare providers in the past. >> this is a really interesting company. despite having 70,000 employees and contracts all around the world, billions of dollars in business, it isn't that well known in canada. primarily because it doesn't deal with congress supers. in you look at its website, technological services from everything from banks to insurance and of course it works in the healthcare sector. >> it has done very well on is stock market, it is well regarded. it is considered to be one of canada's show case companies. cans canada's largest company. >> but the current problems in the u.s. aren't the first time it has faced challenges with governments and health kay. the canadian providence last year terminated a

contract to build a diabetes data base. >> the corporation, couldn't connect its systems with the systems that exist in the public health care system here. which serve ooze population of 13 million people, and it is a big system. and whether it was the fault of the company cgi or the fault of the public health system is a matter of legal debate. >> c.g.i. says it is in talks about that dispute. most large projects involving government, business, or both, end in some sort of failure, and experts say that's because of complexity, and because systems are not tested adequately. >> this is a highly complex project, but the people doing it were actually very very strong, good competent practitioners good competent companies and yet it has gone off the rails. so we all the look at the structure, more so than bad people being involved

cold air is coming in from the north, you can see the radar and the clouds picking up light snow, but it is focused around the great lakes. these streamers seem to be coming off the lakes and not moving. that is lake effect snow. picks up a lot of moisture and dumps it down. these areas are under a lake effect snow warning, there's freeze warnings for ohio and freeze watches in the purple. the temperature could drop to freezing overnight tonight, now the radar plus the clouds show it moving down, even though it has picked up as rain, most likely coming down as snow, colder temperatures have set in, and that can lead to a foot of snow. the air temperatures in the 40's, water temperatures into the 50's. that wind goes from east to west, the amount of snow coming down could be close to a foot here in new york. and there's more lake effect snow. in western new york, maybe about six inches there. now the colder
