and we are joined live from baghdad and isil has a new identity and new territory and ambitions and how is this going down with other sunni groups that are fighting in iraq? >> so far the other sunni groups have not reacted but very slowly there is some reaction coming out of baghdad. there is no official reaction but i am hearing from key figures within political advisors actually who are in disbelief that such a thing could happen and said who does this man think he is? so it borders on mockery as well, how can this man do this? i mean what justification does he have? so that is the kind of reaction that we are beginning to see here in iraq and obviously there is no official reaction right now but it will put some pressure on prime minister maliki and people will look at

police commissioner and he confirms an incident has taken place and says he is investigating but cannot give details. this is becoming a frequent situation and the army and police are unable to give information and detail about this and causing frustration among news media and among people who live in the area which is a security zone cutoff from any real outside support. >> and attacks by boko haram seem relentless and is the government doing anything to change its strategy in the north? >> well, if it is then it's not apparent on the ground. there is a growing acceptance that the military is up against it. the boko haram forces do seem extremely well equipped. they have been all along since the whole campaign started in 2009. but never before has there been this frequency of attacks and
