another iraqi prisoner was executed. they were accused of murdering a jordanian truck driver in iraq. the government confirmed moaz al-kasasbeh was killed on january 3rd, a month or so after. it was attributed to i.s.i.l. on tuesday. it showed that the jordanian cut short his visit. >> they addressed the jordanian people in a statement. >> sadness. at the hands of terrorists. that criminal and divient which was not related to the nobel faith. the pilot died while defending faith and nation. >> riots broke out.

after news of moaz al-kasasbeh's killing emerged yesterday. what is the reaction to the apparent killing by the government in response. are people satisfied? >> some are. they feel they want more. it was an horrific crime. and something that touches each family. so actually that killing and the way it was presented. ooep those questioning jordan's role in the coalition against i.s.i.s. they have nothing more to say. they feel they are on the defensive, and the whole country is rallying expecting a prize and punishing i.s.i.s. for the killing. politically speaking this killing rallies the people around jordan the government the king as it arrives in jordan. we expect him to meet the family

shortly, and we heard from the family of the pilot killed. they were supportive of the government. they wanted the government to do everything to make i.s.i.s. pay a price and get revenge. some are questioning the fact that the two iraqis were executed as a prize. they don't want this to become an eye for an eye. they feel the government needs to do more to punish the group that did this. >> you mentioned the support that there is today of the government. but in the past there was lukewarm support for jordan's participation in the so-called matters. do you think if you will it's a reaction or will it be long-term support for jordan's role in the fighting?

for a while it's not just jordanians, but the sunni population. it's defending the sunni muslims in the arab world, standing up against the west. that had some people rallying not behind i.s.i.s. but against the coalition it has shifted to i.s.i.s. cruelty, methods, to the unjustified way they had treated the arabs. it rallied, if you see the press in the whole arab world, in the palestinian territories, there is outrage. this rallies people against i.s.i.l. there is another concern in the country which is yes, maybe people are rallying against i.s.i.s. there are concerns. there may be sleeping cells, and they may act before taking revenge against the solution rula lie in ayman.
