12:06 pm
locations. for us the priority is to supply the hospital with urgent medical supplies. that includes surgical kits. we have a four-member surgical team now in djibouti, and we plan to bring them to yemen. and they'll work in hospital and provide the urgent treatment that people need. so far the security situation in yemen and ongoing fighting has been so intense. we also don't have the permission in yemen to bring in this boat to aden, so that is another emergency and another priority for the red cross. >> and pakistan's parliament has been debate building the country had you had get involved in the campaign in yemen. saudi arabia has asked for help in aircraft and soldiers. they havediscussions have

them and the mechanism of cooperation. other countries continue the evaluation of its citizens and the commander of the coalition with its commitment to personally take. according to the plan of action we spoke about the situation in aden. news coming from aden are not on the same level as the last two days. the operations there in aden are hit-and-run operations and today
12:12 pm
the media the difference the media outlet has mentioned the things of the buildings that are being targeted by these militia militias. they do not attack any military locations. they only attack buildings and they've barricaded in some places of the city of aden. the work with the popular people of the tribes of yemen the work is ongoing and the support of the coalition and provided them with the necessary inflammation.
12:13 pm
according to the plans and locations and these days are targeted in campaigns and coalition forces are targeting these areas. as we said. there is also continued support from the tribes in aden and outside of aden. and the aid is to help the people of the city to defend the cities. and the air raids are ongoing. these houthi militias will have two options. either to stay where they are in the camps of the yemeni army diseased by them, and the targeted by the coalition
12:14 pm
they're easy target for the warplanes. we have targeted more than one road leading to aden or to prevent these militias from moving towards the city of aden. they are carried out certain raids on these places of militias. whether these locations are for the rebels or for those supporting the ousted president ali abdullah saleh. this has been mentioned and we
12:15 pm
need to the of weapons that have been stored and seized by militias. why that's why they're continuing the process of hitting these weapons. also yesterday we hit the bridge coming from the north towards aden because the militia movements. we have to target to prevent the houthis from movement not to
12:16 pm
destroy for the sake of destroying the bridges. you can see the volume of explosion in these weapons stores. also this is one of the military camps in the northern of yemen in saada and we know in the last few days groups of these militia have been moved to. now the level of movement is not the same. these are individual approaches by them, and we have targeted any movement in these areas. one of the military camps, as you can see was hit directly by the coalition. this is a point or a check point constructed by the houthis in order to prevent the flow of
12:17 pm
movement of the citizens and also it has been targeted yesterday so as not to be used by the militias to facility the militia's movement. and to have the movement of the citizens. this is a fly over over bridge, and as we said we don't aim to destroy the infrastructure of the bridge, but we only hit the right side so as not to hamper movementment bridge. also at the same time we can see this is part of the systems being hit by the coalition warplanes in addition to that these warplanes are giving support around the area of aden.
12:18 pm
we also are protecting the southern borders of the kingdom and we have not registered or monitored any of these things in the border, and we need to make sure that there are no basis for anyone to use these bases against the kingdom of saudi arabia. we give support to those who want to evacuate citizens of other countries.
12:19 pm
also to stop trafficking from the yemeni islands. we're monitoring through our navy warships, and through the aerial aircraft of the coalition. we wish to achieve success and we wish to be able to achieve our goals and targets. the targets are clear for us. the plans of action are there. now is the time for questions if you want and if you have any. >> peace be upon you the logistics to the situation how to evaluate the military support and how to evaluate the situation when the yemeni--some of the yemeni tribes have been
12:20 pm
supporting the legitimacy of the country against the houthi and against the hosted president ali abdullah saleh. you spoke about the support in aden okay. first of all let me stress the job has been done according to the plans we have. i have mentioned so many times that the houthi militias and their supporters as the yemeni army have been done inside the city of aden. and we have mentioned that there is an use of the armored and the also mouthys have a hit of the buildings and the civilians inside these buildings who cannot defend themselves.
12:21 pm
>> we know that these militias have hit the areas of aden. support is there according to the plans so as not to give our support in the wrong direction. and as you know the houthi militias and other people who support these militias are trying to mix things as we have some prisoners that's why we need to be careful about the logistic support. this is going to the one who is are in need of support. the military actions are on going and the aim is to safeguard the city. safeguard the cities and the legitimate regime and the future. >> another question, please.
12:22 pm
are you going to expand your support outside of the city of aden? >> so you have been listen together daily brief briefing by spokesperson for the saudi arabia who are carrying out operations against houthis in yemen. the spokesperson said that the houthis are attacking military installations and attacking buildings. he said that the coalition warplanes are doing their job and he said they have continuing support in and around aden. also listening in to that daily press briefing. we're 12 days into the operation. the key question everybody wants to have answered how much of an impact have these airstrikes had on the houthis?
12:23 pm
>> well, basically from the press spokesperson of the saudi-led coalition. this is something that we're going to see take some time for the coalition to say that the situation is under control in aden because the problems that they face as we speak is that the houthi fighters, along with soldiers loyal to the deposeed president ali abdullah saleh are still there. and they can still about around in different parts of the city in the city of aden. the problem they face is basically that these fighters can easily go to residential areas for cover or go to some of the military bases that they control. we do understand that they might have their own bung carries there and take refuge for some time. and stage hit-and-run tactics
12:24 pm
which complicates things further for the coalition. >> what has not been mentioned so far at this press conference is that saudi arabia has asked pakistan for help. >> they're asking many questions for help. and in terms of the ongoing airstrikes and also if there is eventually of sending troops in to yemen which everyone knows is going to be a very delicate mission. it's a mountainous area, and the houthis and ali abdullah saleh know that they can take it in their own advantage and inflict tragedy on the forces that move into the country. for the time being this is, a, a situation that could further drag on, complicating matters for the saudis, for the locus and for yemenis themselves.
12:25 pm
the president of yemen is keen to see this come to an end as soon as possible. but the situation is extremely delicate on the ground, and the houthis are still very active in different parts of the country. >> hashem, there was a brief mention of the evacuation of some foreign nationals from yemen, but so far no talk of the humanitarian situation of the yemenis, particularly in aden, who are struggling with lack of medical food and water supplies. >> a very tough situation for people in yemen particularly in aden which has seen fighting over the last few days. yemen has, in fact, been suffering with water shortage over the last few months.
12:26 pm
also people don't have access to clean water power throughout the day. doctors are asking for support from abroad in yemen. this is a very delicate situation in yemen. and particularly in the capital. exacerbated by the fact that we still have fighting and airstrikes. >> thank you very much, indeed, for that. >> i want to take you back to syria where humanitarian groups say that conditions in yarmouk are beyond humane. >> they speak of incredible fear. these are some of the people that managed to get out of yarmouk. syrian national news agency
12:27 pm
aired these pictures showing the army and palestinian factions that helped get them to safety. >> in a matter of 30 minutes they could have executed all people you see in this school because isil called from the mosques. if we catch one of you working with them, or are the palestinian group fighting, or with the government, they'll cut our heads off. they have no mercy. >> for the first time video of isil has been posted online showing the inside of the palestinian refugee camp. they've been fighting palestinian groups and others here for the past six days. this camp has been besieged for more than two years by the syrian government. people are staffing with no running water or electricity. now isil's president in what used to be a dead sea camp is now making the situation even worse. even though some people have made it out 18,000 who have
12:28 pm
survived here are trapped. >> we can't pay for anything. we're not on anyone's side. we want the whole camp to be safe. >> the mainly ration organization is sending a dwell gas station to syria to help solve the crisis. no aid is macit making it impossible to treat the wound: the u.n. is warning of a humanitarian catastrophe if the fighting doesn't stop. stephanie dekker, al jazeera, beirut. >> and three people have been killed and dozens injured in northern syria's idleb area. people dug through the republic to find trapped bodies. ten others were injured when barely bombs were dropped india has launched an.
