..the targetting of those in the last 24 hours. since yesterday. there was interaction and urgent resident to leave the areas where the houthis inside. we have noticed that there is a response but unfortunately it has been confirmed to us that the houthi militias stopped and the resident who flee leave the town and this - and refused them - the evacuation. and everyone nose the militias - it's part of a tactic and strategy to use the citizens.
12:32 pm
in the way of those. in the way of militias. the warning is clear. because the operation start targetting all the points where the militia hiding. yesterday the coalition forces and the air forces saudi forces. air strikes targetting more than hundreds in the borders in the area of saudi, and trted the leadership -- targeted the leadership centers and the offices of the houthis, which targeted more than 17 houthi leaders. we have as i said some information behind the attack

against areas. this was where the leaders and the target was very clear, and any attempt to block any humanitarian aid or trying to attack the saudi citizen and operations as they continue in sadr. it is continuing and yesterday more than 30 air strikes targeted more sites and this was against all the leadership planned for this. so there was no movement in the area, and also we considered the situation on these kind of operations, this might target
12:34 pm
some of the areas, but the security forces they are working around the hours to stop this operations. and also respond against this. and also we are going to tackle the count operation taken by the -- ground operation taken by the rebels by the other side executive operations in aden city where they govern the houthis. what were the point of delivery. and aid - it was hit and run between the popular committees and the also the forcers of ali abdullah saleh which are hiding in some areas. and with the other militias in

the operation, and there was exertion of operation in aden. but they are taking place against the operation on the ground and stop the militia, and their allies and how to understand the confrontation is against salah. like i said yesterday, the security the saudi citizens are equal, as important as the others but our thought is their safety and also our brothers yemenis, that have nothing to do with the operation in sadr. those militia were hiding in
12:36 pm
hospitals and in the government building and to stop them from leaving sadder. in aden we executed operations and the situation on the ground is unchangeable. they are still hiding in some area and the situation will improve soon. the target yesterday was aimed at ammunition storage, and they are hiding a big alt of ammunitions ammunitions. there's depots and storage areas inside hospitals and leadership buildings. it is a form of storage.
12:37 pm
these are all in leadership buildings, which have been targeted. which some of the storage contain. some ammunitions. and this one is near the borders of saudis and as you can see they - the amount of storage which has been hidden in the storage which aimed of targetting the saudi arabia area. and also they are hiding fuel to support the operations. operations. >> some of the fuel storage has been targeted.
12:38 pm
and some of the communications site which has been used by some militias to conduct their communication inside yemen or outside of yemen has been targeted yesterday. the headquarters of the leadership, which have been mentioned to you the headquarters and all those places where they have been planning, they are both in sada sadaa.
12:39 pm
12:40 pm
>> also other buildings leadership buildings in the same area. same region. we would like to confirm again that operations continue therefore those leaders who plan the operation, they will have nowhere to hide, and they will have nowhere safe for them. the operation will continue this evening until it achieves the target also on the ground, the border guard and security forces saudi security forces and the ground forces and the last 24 hours. nobody--moving towards the borders of the saudi and that
12:41 pm

us the information on the saudi campaign live from riyadh. we heard about the airstrikes, which are continuing in the northern houthi stronghold he said that the targets include houthi command centers and they're focusing particularly on the location of houthi military commanders. so individuals affiliated with that group are being targeted particularly in that northern stronghold. he said that the saudis are continuing to target fighters loyal to the former president ali abdullah saleh in the port city of aden. that's important to mention that we can't independently verify the actual targets of these airstrikes or the number of airstrikes. so let me now speak to richard a senior fellow and director for the military analysis at the hudson institute. he joins us live now from washington, d.c. we know that there have been

12:46 pm
airstrikes it's also possible that they're reacting to what targets are available on the ground so until it's clear why this increase is clearing it's hard to know if this will continue. >> would you link the number of airstrikes in the effectiveness and eliminating any particular target? >> well, put it this way the number of strikes may be linked to the number of targets that they think they see. it's not clear whether you you are really sure if you're hitting the target when you do this and if you succeeded in inflicting the damage. the advantage as it hovers over to make sure that a target has
