off from the rules then other countries are going to demand the same. and very soon, the rules will be completely different. so that's the real problem. the euro was premature. the -- there is no tax union there is no transfer union in the european -- in the eurozone. so because of the euro, and because the countries don't have flexibility to change their exchange rates moarms, they more or less, they have to grow and the productivity has to grow at the same pace. and you can have big operations like greece where the productivity did not grow, while in holland germany it grew a lot. so these are inherent problems of the euro. it doesn't mean that the project is dead. it just means that it's difficult and it needs a lot of management.

u.s. investigators are looking into the overseas travel of a man who opened fire on two military facilities on thursday. mohammed yousef abdulazeez was shot dead by police after killing four marines in tennessee. john hendren is in chattanooga when the attack happened. ♪ ♪ ♪ >> reporter: vigils for four marines gunned down on american soil. and road side prayers. at the sight of the first shooting, a military rerighting center a witness recalls a calm killer who stopped to reload. >> he reached into the passenger seat and started pulling out the rifle and i saw the black handle come out and he picked it up like this and went back and forth like this. unloaded the cartridge went back and forth again.

highly likely some of the fires were deliberately lit. now, some are putting skills to humanitarian use. they have joined forces with the u.n. to carry food to thousands of people in inaccessible villages. from central nepal, sabina shrestha has the story. >> reporter: porters carry food and other essential items for u.n.'s food program. many of them high altitude porters have been without jobs since the earthquake. a porter with the trekking agency before. >> my house was destroyed in the earthquake. we we cannot afford to sit around. we need to work. >> 17,000 porters have been employed in this program. handling the logistics. >> we are trying to provide jobs

for 40,000 people. we are not doing other activities. we are just supporting through the human transportation. >> these porters are going to walk for three days and cross a 3500 meter pass to the village in neighboring district. they earn $15 a day to carry 30 kilos. from the air landslides appear like scars on the mountain side. the team has to fix trail as they walk. most of the houses in this picturesque village have been damaged. the village has always had problems with food availability and now their main crop [applause] maize has seemed decimated by some type of insect.
