emerged between these countries in southeastern parts of europe how to deal with people, obviously, croatia, serbia, the one thing they all have in common is the policy of saying, you can pass through our country and out the other end. but actually, the best phrase i can use to describe it is people-dumping. you've g.o. goes the macedonians and then serbia dump them on the border with croatia, and then many were picked up in buses from zagreb and in the border with slovenia. there are aid workers from croatia and slovenia overnight and suddenly these people arrived. the first thing they want is soup and after that they are a little more relaxed.

>> well many yo, you know, i tht represents the absolute dichotomy if you like of what these politicians are saying. on one level they're saying yes of course they're refugees and we plus do what we can. but in the same voice they say you must protect the shengen border. the protection of the borders, i do feel that ultimately the answer to this has to lie in germany which clearly as we know has taken in so many more times refugees than anybody else. from here to munich, if you cast your mind back, people applauding the refugees that they arrive is only about a five hour drive and this is start of the shengen area. straight to all i austria arouno
