loser was cnbc. this was a very raucus debate. and the candidates scored their biggest points by criticizing the media. i thought the candidate who did the best was the one who initiated that tactic and that was marco rubio showing himself to be a real fighter in this debate and chris christie also came out very well. he had a wonderful line when he confronted a question saying that's a rude question even in new jersey. >> rude question even in new jersey. who do you think was the winner then? >> i think rube owe came out the best. he made a big impression. he was a fighter and defended his record.

gop. john -- >> lindsay graham was very impressive. but that's something to -- i don't know that, that helps him. even in the top ten, the bottom few are in the low single digits in terms of performances. i think that john casik came out very strong. everyone has an idea about how they're going to lower taxes and increase employment and everything will be fine. john casik explained how both in the senate and as the governor of ohio, the incremental approach. when he said if it were all about eliminating waste, fraud, and bruce, we would have done it by now.

voted yay, just 79 members and conservatives are critical of this bill for a few reasons saying it's secretive. they don't like it raises the debt limit and that it boosts spending on nondefense items. now, paul ryan, the man expected to be the next house speaker was initially critical. he did vote for it today. the bill would boost spending by $80 million over the next two years and lift caps on both spending and -- leadership both
