to undo if not all at least part of the peace of the peace deal which is already floundering here so the whole future of the peace accord that was signed in the more than a year ago here in colombia hangs in the balance not just who would be the president this year is it predominantly the peace deal that is the at the center of this election because the country is also facing problems with health care on the economy and unemployment as well isn't it. you're absolutely right and you know when i speak to people out here and i say why did you vote for. they say they don't mention the peace deal as their first concern they talk about inequality in health education they say look this man is running on the platform of social justice in a country which has the second largest and social justice or social difference equal to the syndrome in the whole of latin america i'm pointing to the world bank that have a rather the largest inequality gap is the is the way it should be put so people

areas as you mentioned why i think it's important for u.s. policymakers to understand how seriously north korea takes its nuclear weapons program it is a source of leverage for them it is a guarantee of regime survival and it's not something that it's going to give up easily if at all so the only way this summit can succeed is if the united states comes closer to the north korean position on denuclearization or if the two sides work to lower public expectations is that going to be possible because there's a great deal as we were talking about about the rhetoric on both sides there's a lot at stake personally if you like certainly politically for donald trump and kim jong un respectively in their own countries there's not really going to be a lot of room for negotiation when it comes to saving face in the terms.
