remember was brought by the manhattan prosecutors but lanny davis who was very close to the clintons of course is trying to talk down. likely jail sentence so offering testimony as a mother investigation i think really quite important and if i were donald trump i'd be very very nervous is that something that his supporters and his party could be rail and somewhat. well you know that the risk always for people who want trump in trouble is that he could fire robert muller i mean he could fire you could get rid of is attorney general you could get rid of broad rosenstein you could fire muller that's the way of the railing of this investigation that would really tremendous challenge to congress and and to the

republican party i'm not saying he's going to do that but if you get really really nervous that's always a possibility and of course everyone wants to see really what's going to happen in the november midterm election because this will be the first chance that the american people have to judge what's going on inside washington that these elections are obviously for local seats at the same time the democrats will certainly try to make it as much as possible a referendum. on donald trump and the republicans will be desperate to try to hold on to the house and certainly the senate because it is the house and senate that will define whether donald trump is expelled from office early or not so the president of the united states a sitting president of the united states has been named a party to a crime by someone who has pleaded guilty to

a crime i think that bears repeating because that's pretty much as big a said get so having said that. is there a way ok fine if he were able to shut down moller and congress are able to to stop this is there still an avenue for the southern district of new york the prosecutors there to still pursue something while he is president and if not while he's president if after he's president if they feel like there's still more they are there based on what michael cohen told them. yes i think they can i mean if you remember watergate what should you but. yeah i was an unindicted coconspirator to watergate too to the break in and you don't normally indict a sitting president which was the reason that's moved on and by that if donald trump were not president i think he would already have been indicted as he has john and some john edwards actually when you think about it john edwards what he got in

trouble for was people paying off his mistress credit. yes that's that's that's precisely right now why did this happen one presumes donald trump understood this was likely to torpedo is already in chances of becoming president of the united states that's why it's a campaign finance problem because it was all done in the context of trump as the republican candidate and then you find yourself circling around the whole russian question which is different but i think to most americans more important and this is what mothers really pursuing was their collusions not really the right words not of the word was there a conspiracy among the trump campaign to use whatever they could
