a ridiculous partisan investigation and then said if there's going to be piece of legislation under the words i'm going to sign your laws that you pass here in congress there cannot be war and investigation so it was of our moment where the president was essentially calling for unity but also saying and if you don't give me what i want to have not going to cya your legislation to last so that was a little bit unusual and the president also spent an awful lot of time talking about the one issue that has really divided this country in the last thirty five days we saw that government shutdown of course and then the fact that we're in ten days away from short term funding running out once again over this issue of the border wall along the southern border of the united states and mexico the president did sort of characterize this is a moral issue saying that he felt that many democrats simply were not taking a reflecting the priorities of the american people in terms of safety talking about
