a deal on the twenty ninth of march if there is explicit consent in the house for that outcome british prime minister theresa may lays out new options for breck's it as a deadline nears for the u.k. to leave the e.u. also this hour iran's foreign minister shocked the diplomatic world with a sudden resignation but there's no sign yet his boss will accept it. in school the billionaire owner of the union has been formally charged with soliciting prostitution seventy seven year old robert cross case will be heard in april the american denies the allegations. thank you for joining us india says its military has carried out as strikes close to the border of pakistan and pakistan administered kashmir it says an armed group behind us so assad attack in indian administered kashmir was a target of pakistani military spokesman tweeted these pictures. to show debris
4:02 pm
from the strikes the indian foreign ministry says many fighters were killed at the jayashri mohammed training camp in balad caught the group had claimed responsibility for the attack that killed at least forty indian paramilitary soldiers earlier this month but pakistan denies there were any casualties or damage done by the indian as strikes the indian government says the fighters were being trained to carry out another attack in the face of the minutes danger a preemptive strike became absolutely necessary in an intelligence little operation in the early hours of today india struck the biggest training camp of the jewish a moment in balakot in this operation a very large number of gentian mama terrorists trainers senior commanders and groups of jihad these who are being trained for feeding action were eliminated the government of india is firmly and resiliently committed to taking all necessary

measures to fight the minutes of terrorism hence this nonmilitary preemptive action was specifically targeted at the moment camp and in indian administered kashmir they have been violent confrontations between soldiers and protesters. this was a scene in the prevention of capital srinagar indian troops fired tear gas at demonstrators violence broke out after the government carried out raids on the houses of people india calls separatist leaders a curfew has also been imposed in cities across the region that speak to our correspondent in new delhi face a gemelli phase let's start with the incident in pakistan administered kashmir we're hearing two narratives surrounding what happens there what kind of evidence is india providing about what they say happened on the ground the pakistanis have tweeted pictures what evidence does india have.
4:04 pm
fawley india isn't giving any evidence of that type at this time and now some see that as could be detrimental in showing there's any proof that these raids happen but many analysts say that india is trying not to rattle the saber right now as you heard from india foreign secretary in that clip just now he used some very interesting words he used preemptive and nonmilitary nonmilitary because no pakistani military civilians or infrastructure was targeted they also used the words preemptive something we usually hear from the united states or israel saying that they had evidence that they were about to be attacked and that's why they had to act the yorks their explanations are being seen as a way to deescalate tensions between india and pakistan and many believe that india won't release any information any hard proof that is any time soon just to make sure that they don't further enraged the military establishment in pakistan the indian prime minister narendra modi had been under pressure to take action after the attack in. fourteenth in which more than fourteen paramilitary troops were
4:05 pm
killed there's also now you know the targeting of the separatists what they say are separatists anyway in indian administered kashmir will this be enough to appease those who wanted modi to take action is this enough for the prime minister for the time being. well many believe it is mostly held a televised rally just on tuesday itself where he told the crowd mainly composed of former military personnel saying that i fulfilled my promise and that you in the country are in safe hands i won't let anyone a race this country now it's a little bit of a dual knit parallel but counter narrative to what india's foreign minister was saying trying to deescalate tensions between india and pakistan while movie is trying to shore up support on his base ahead of elections in april but there's another there's a cot in the middle are people in india administered kashmir as we've heard there
4:06 pm
were raids early on tuesday at separatist leaders home a curfew was imposed on the entire city of srinagar but a large number of local relatives broke that curfew and went to the separatists homes where they clashed with security forces al-jazeera has spoken to people there on the ground and they say that whether india attacks pakistan or pakistan attacks india it's them the kashmiris always caught in the middle. in new delhi thank you very much for that meanwhile pakistan's foreign minister says it's on forces are prepared for all eventualities i'm going to pakistan cannot if there is aggression against pakistan we have the right to defend our country this situation is unfolding a political up on a diplomatic level and at the military level pakistan is planning and pakistan will respond. with more reaction from islam a bot. the bug is on a military spokesman major general. going to be organizing

very seriously and. in other world news u.s. president donald trump is expected to her either capital hanoi in a little more than an hour from now to meet north korea's leader kim jong un for the second time over the next two days try to convince came to give up his country's nuclear weapons in return came a price for relief from punishing u.s. sanctions live to our diplomatic editor jane space noyo james certainly there seems to have been a lowering of the tensions between the two countries since the summit in singapore so what are they hoping to achieve in hanoi what are the expectations. there's been two things since that summit seven months ago one is a lowering of the tension and they've basically followed what the chinese have been suggesting for a long time which is what they call the freeze for
4:09 pm
a freeze the north koreans stopping their nuclear missile testing the u.s. stopping their military exercises but having said that what's also happened since that summit it last year in singapore is that the negotiations have really ground to a halt they've stalled they're not getting anywhere and that's why they brought in these two leaders to try and restart the process i wouldn't put very high expectations that they're going to achieve anything huge and concrete here but over the last two years as we watch this the promo see remembering that president donald trump is involved i think you have to always expect the unexpected. kim jong il arriving in hanoi after a long journey by train from north korea all the way across china he's here for the latest stage of one of the most unusual diplomatic process is ever in two years
4:10 pm
it's ranged from the threat of imminent war made in the u.n. general assembly we will have no choice but to turn only destroy north korea to ten months later a face to face summit the first time the leaders of these two countries technically still at war had ever met and there was an instant bond and then we fell in love ok now we only hear of the beautiful letters and their great lands. we fell in love even a former state department official from the obama administration was impressed i have a dozen criticisms of the trumpet ministration foreign policy from presidential imports of nurses to disrespect and. misuse of dedicated public servants in the u.s. government on this particular issue i'm willing to give president trump credit for trying something new he's not correct when he says the plumber c.
4:11 pm
has never worked with north korea in fact it has produce positive results in the past but he is correct when he says it's never gotten us to the solution that we really want what you've got to remember follies that president trump views things on the whole through domestic agenda through the domestic view of all this how is this going to play back home with the voters how is it going to play with the base and right now this is seen as one of his few successes he's turned imminent war into a stalemate in the source of peace if not a last peace my guess is that president trump will not want to push too hard too hard on the north koreans because he doesn't want to risk this whole thing collapsing james the venue of this summit is significant yet not a country which was also once an enemy of the united states can it not be

a model for north korea. potentially yes vietnam was seen in amazing transition since the end of the vietnam war and then particularly the nine hundred ninety s. i was actually here before it happened nine hundred ninety four was a key date in vietnam's history that's when the u.s. the clinton administration finally lifted the trade embargo with vietnam it was like an economic tsunami in vietnam really took advantage of it obviates seized capitalism has transformed itself of course going to ninety four north korea's history was a year of transition to its when the founding leader kim's grandfather died and was replaced by kim's father so if north korea changes now as a result of all of this it's changing having lost an entire generation thank you for that team spain's live for us. in hanoi and as we mentioned then as you heard

the no cation of the trump summit is significant the second summit washington and vietnam were also once considered enemies our white house correspondent kimberly halakhah takes a look at how that has changed. almost a half century after the end of the war in vietnam jim garcia has traveled to the vietnam veterans memorial wall to honor those who fought and died in the conflict i think. garcia's father was a marine who served two tours in the vietnam war the conflict cost more than fifty eight thousand american lives most of them mo mori allies here in washington d.c. u.s. president donald trump avoided military service during vietnam citing bone spurs something he's been heavily criticized for. but his trunk heads to the vietnamese capital of hanoi to meet north korean leader kim jong un for the second face to

face summit the country will serve as an example of how old foes can become friends . from the one nine hundred fifty s. through to the early one nine hundred seventy s. the united states sent its men to fight in vietnam a generation later a nine hundred ninety four bill clinton the other u.s. president who avoided military service looked at the trade embargo on the scot in this country completely changing vietnam's relationship with the united states since then the vietnamese economy has been. the us is now one of vietnam's biggest trading partners like vietnam after the war the us and north korea have no formal diplomatic or economic ties we think that north korea. and german can have a tremendous potential as an economic force. as the u.s. tries to convince young to abandon its nuclear weapons program. some analysts say
4:15 pm
kim should look to vietnam as an example of what's possible it's really quite remarkable and it is a reminder to kim jong un that we the united states are capable of moving beyond previously adversarial relationships like vietnam north korea can learn much about transforming its economy despite u.s. efforts to isolate it it's one of the so-called carrots trump is dangling as a means of negotiating peace the challenge may be convincing the north korean leader a deal isn't a sign of surrender kimberly helped get zero. the united nations security council is set to hold an open meeting on venezuelan latest susie at the request of the united states on monday venezuela denounced the regional bloc that lima group accusing it of waging a campaign to oust president nicolas maduro the fourteen member bloc had been holding talks in colombia along with u.s. vice president mike pence and salons a new round of sanctions on close allies of maduro and regional partners to freeze

person iran's foreign minister mahmoud jabbered zarif has quit and it's suggested infighting between parties and political factions may have been behind his decision and majority of iranian m.p.'s have now sent a letter to president hassan rouhani urging that saif continue his job he played a central role in brokering the twenty fifty nuclear deal between iran and a number of world powers mike hanna has a report from the united nations. this was a moderate face of a nation apparently seeking reconciliation with western powers mohamad job you'd serif was educated in the u.s. and served as ambassador to the united nations before becoming foreign minister in two thousand and thirteen. he was the driving force in the intense negotiations with the west a nuclear powers that led to what became known as the joint comprehensive plan of action an agreement which iran agreed to limit to sensitive nuclear activities and

give access to international inspectors in return for the lifting of crippling economic sanctions. the deal now threatened by the unilateral decision of president trump to no longer abide by it it's a bad deal it's a bad structure it's falling down should have never ever been made i blame congress i blame a lot of people for. but it should have never been made. in the months since the u.s. announcement there's been increasing criticism of the foreign minister by some elements in iran who had argued that it proved the foreign minister had been misled in negotiating the deal. a long time user of social media mohammed zarif was well aware that twitter is restricted in iran and announced his resignation on instagram which is widely available i think the generosity of the

dia and courageous people of iran and respect to deficiencies over the last sixty seven months he says i apologize sincerely for my inability to continue serving and for all the shortcomings and flaws during the term of my service be happy and proud denouncement came on the same day that syrian president bashar assad made a surprise visit to iran his first since the civil war broke out in syria eight years ago among those he met was a rainy and president hassan rouhani who's yet to confirm that you'll accept his foreign minister's resignation mike hanna al-jazeera when i speak some more about this still mostafa question who's the editor in chief of the farce news agency and joins us live from tehran thank you very much for being with us it's not the first time that zarif has resigned well the supreme leader accept the resignation this time around you think. thanks for having me well let's not leave the president of the ship except resignation and there are now reports saying after president
4:23 pm
rouhani sent three people including his chief of staff to almost as a relief to see if he could get back that they were disappointed and saying that you know he's going to accept the resignation but i believe but mrs harry has been smart enough to understand when to resign actually why now do you think what pushed him. well as you just mentioned there he is resigning to cut the phone i'm sol throughout the last several months because ever since president rouhani rose to power his main agenda has been only one thing that is improving the iranian economy as he was given an agenda by you know the constitution sees and people who voted for him through a conflict or a solution efforts trying to resolve differences with the west over the nuclear issue but. apparently after several years after the u.s.
4:24 pm
discarded it the old and the europeans are not showing so much zeal in paying the costs for their security and for the deal to keep it alive and comply with their undertakings we seem to have for iran to work out an alternative there at the g. . you know last night was the mission of the said it was until ron and you could see two arms iranian foreign policy working one very excellently through iran's resistance in you know syria and iraq it works well why iran's efforts for you know conflict was solution with the west failed and so when there's a strategy fails you need to reshuffle the cabinet to replace people ok with new experts in the economy and inform policy so you say replace people a new cabinet rate reshuffle if this resignation is indeed accepted confirmed what
4:25 pm
would it mean in terms of the balance of power between the hardliners and the reformists in iran and what direction then if the reshuffle does happen will we see iranian foreign policy take. you know this is the knox of you know how a wrestling between the two factions in iran actually this is president rouhani after all trump is caught in that deal several months ago he came to realize that your own feelings are not very much apparently a willing to paid for the cost of the deal so he started with shuffling some of his economy minister but he didn't go through this stage very completely he's has been slow and adamant to continue reshuffling cabinet and shifting strategy he's they can all make and foreign policy strategy now this shift should become pleated and in area of foreign policy someone with expertise to develop ties a strategic ties with the east should be you know should be invited to the cabinet
4:26 pm
first and then economy minister is who are experts in developing national economy they should come to the cabinet to help president rouhani so this is mainly a something within the cabinet and replacement of strategy and mr is there reefers been very smart enough to understand that he could not do anything more and this is strategy is not going to meet the results and he needs to resign to push the president to go for it you know change of strategy thank you so much for speaking to us thank you for your views moustache mostafa question joining us from tehran we appreciate your time thank you. britain's prime minister has outlined how the u.k. can avoid leaving the e.u. without a deal or delay breck said to recently has just announced that parliament will have a second vote on her current withdrawal deal by march twelfth politicians rejected the agreement by a massive margin in january if they veto it again then parliament will get the
4:27 pm
opportunity to vote on whether the u.k. should depart with no agreement if they decide against no deal then a vote will be held by march fourteenth or asking the e.u. to delay the march twenty ninth departure date lawrence lee is in london for us outside westminster lawrence talk us through what. prime minister may outline there is this just pushing the can down the road. well yes but i think the bigger point really is that she's folded and in doing so she's increasingly losing power and authority and credibility and politicians and her opponents are starting to frankly to run rings round so you know having said we call off the week a month after month that the u.k. will leave the european union with or without a deal on march twenty ninth she's now accepted that there is so much panic and fear about the prospects of leaving without
4:28 pm
a deal and obviously parliament voted overwhelmingly as you said in your introduction against her deal to that she has had no choice there's a fax of massive amounts of resignations inside her own body a result on the cards and so effectively she's had to concede at least this sequence that she's now put forward for the middle of march that there will be a vote on her delegate and if that fails then they'll be a vote ruling out no deal and if that happens to a vote on trying to extend it it really does look as if she's losing credibility and it was a small moment of history frankly after all this time only a month to go before the u.k. supposed to leave this is how she accepted this small defeat to her authority. i want to reassure the house by making three further commitments first we will hold a second meaningful vote by tuesday the twelfth of march at the latest second and if the government has not won a meaningful vote by tuesday the twelfth of march then it will in addition to its
4:29 pm
obligations to table a neutral amendable motion under section thirteen of the e.u. withdrawal act table a motion to be voted on by wednesday the thirteenth of march the latest asking this house if it supports leaving the e.u. without should withdraw agreement and a framework for a future relationship on the twenty ninth of march so the united kingdom will only leave without a deal on the twenty ninth of march if there is explicit consent in the house for that outcome third. third. if the house having rejected leaving with the deal negotiated with the e.u. then rejects leaving on the twenty ninth of march with our withdrawal agreement and future framework the government will on the fourteenth of march bring forward a motion on whether parliament wants to see a short limited extension to article fifty. and if the house votes for an extension seek to agree that extension approved by the house with the e.u.
4:30 pm
and bring forward the necessary legislation to change the exit date commensurate with that extension so lawrence we're going to make of this. well look start from the assumption that the three things in that sequence are all going to pass that filament will vote down her agreement again parliament will vote against no deal and there's a and there's certainly a majority for that and based on that there will have to be an extension all the power then shifts to the european union it's as if he's comprehensively in the driving seat and if you're watching this in the european capital or in brussels you are bound to say to yourself if the reason maze power is slipping away from parliament is terrified of no deal then even if the ear opinion except which doesn't have to only a two month extension then why should it wants to make any further concessions to
4:31 pm
to the u.k. because the reason made logic is if you get to the end of may when it's the european elections and there is still no further agreements then all you're left with is no deal or revoking article fifty are not leaving the european union at all and frankly it's overwhelmingly in the european union's interest for the u.k. not to leave and for there to be no deal so it places so much more power and and that that that the trajectory in the movements of power in the hands of the european union that all they have to do is sit there and let the entire thing unravel and then allow to then freeze i'm a has to say at the end of may well what's it going to be no deal or not leaving at all and i suspect this could be the moment when not leaving looks much more likely than ever knowing floor in london thank you. time now for a check of the world weather his the thanks folly i'm looking at europe today where it's absolutely glorious the weather really is very very nice is plenty of sunshine
4:32 pm
around for many of us in the western parts of europe now february is my birthday month don't like to talk about it but i know for a fact it's always great it's always miserable it's always cold look at this this hasn't read the script at all it's balmy and looks like it's spring it really is very warm in fact we've seen some temperature records set across parts of england and wales the temperatures made up to twenty point six degrees that's a new record for the area and for us in belgium we got up to eighteen point eight also a record and the heat is going to continue you need a good few days of the same kind of weather in order to make a temperature extremes like that and that's what you're seeing plenty of the sunny weather for the east to well all the cloud is toppling down the eastern parts and some of that is giving us a little bit of wet weather some snow as well but it's what we've seen over the mediterranean recently that has really made the headlines for us in crete the weather has been all full and the rain has been hammering down we've seen one
4:33 pm
hundred thirty three millimeters just in a twenty four hour period that has caused us a problem with flooding we've also seen winds gusting up to one hundred eleven kilometers per hour and we've seen amazing amounts of hail as well this system though fortunately is moving its way eastwards but it is working its way across parts of turkey and syria. think you very much for that still ahead on this news hour donald trump's former lawyer is expected to give his first testimony against the u.s. president in the coming hours we'll be live in washington and in sports the golden state warriors continue their push to stay top of the western conference to stay with us.
4:34 pm
it does look more and more like bangladesh is becoming a woman politics give me one good reason why the opposition should have been able to do far from the problem of human rights watch describes how opposition members have been arrested or killed and even disappeared movie house and goes head to head with carroll who is free. to you won't be a development we don't is distributing the economic revolution will recognize a this is a brother who development is not the same as democracy. on al-jazeera. welcome
4:35 pm
back you're watching the news hour on al-jazeera a reminder of our top stories north korean leader kim jong un has arrived in get noms capital head of a second summit with the u.s. president donald trump came was greeted by a god of honor after crossing into the country by train india says its military is carried out as strikes close to the border between pakistan and pakistani administered kashmir the target was an odd group responsible for a suicide attack in indian administered kashmir earlier this month. and britain's prime minister to resign may has been given the option of choosing between leaving the european union with or without a deal or ask the e.u. to postpone breck said a comment will have a second vote on her current withdrawal agreement by march twelfth. the high level negotiations to end afghanistan seventeen year war are into the second day in qatar
4:36 pm
senior taliban leaders are holding talks with the u.s. special envoy for peace is on may hot is on here in doha afghan taliban co-founder and political chief mourner abdul ghani baradar is leading the discussions stephanie deca is covering those talks forest joins us now live from doha what's the latest you're hearing stuff about these talks what progress has been made. well they don't say anything publicly but we managed to track down the taliban spokesperson here in doha shaheen he was sitting in the hotel where these two to taking place he when we also about the progress of that two main issues were on the table that they were discussing and that was the u.s. troop withdrawal of course the u.s. has around fourteen thousand troops still inside afghanistan and what the americans really wanted was a taliban assurance of ensuring that groups like eisel who are gaining ground and also al qaida are not going to use the country for any as a staging ground for further attacks and i did all skim something key of course
4:37 pm
because the people of afghanistan want to know about the security situation and i pushed him on this ceasefire with and that was something that was being discussed this is what he had to say this is what i asked him. and one guarantees you giving that if you do find an agreement that the military aspect of your group will cease to operate when you have missions named it there is full withdrawal of quarter groups from the onslaught. on of money through systemic goodman in the country i think there is no need for a military operation in war so there will be a sustainable peace in the country and not all. military people are our people they will be included in the national party and the other question said that many people are asking is whether anything of substance can be achieved without the taliban directly talking to the afghan government.
4:38 pm
yes i also asked him that i said are you going to be speaking to the afghan government and he said to me that that was an internal issue that at the moment they're dealing with the external factors which are those two issues the u.s. troops and them dealing with the security inside the country preventing iceland al-qaeda from launching attacks i think it does seem to be quite complicated because the sense that that i got from that was that the taliban will launch be or at least was very ambiguous about it when it comes to laying down their military side of things i said can you get all your fighters across the country to lay down their arms because the people of afghanistan want security what are you doing to ensure that well he skirted around and said that first the u.s. troops the occupation as he called it needed to end then there needs to be a unity government and then there would be a national army formed i think many people in afghanistan say they want peace but they are a little nervous and skeptical about what form the taliban will return on in this sort of political fold so i think again we're just going to have to wait and see
4:39 pm
what is agreed upon if anything at this meeting he was oss whether he was optimistic he said yes but he said that if there was no solution or no agreement in this round of talks then there would of course be another round of talks so again we're just going to have to wait and see how this is going to unfold in the next couple of days thank you for that stephanie decker live for acing doha to the us now and donald trump's former personal lawyer michael cohen is expected to tell congress if the president broke the law while in office cohen's evidence will be given behind closed doors his public testimony is due to begin when say. he joins us now live from washington with the very latest she had what's being said about the cessna money. we're getting a lot of leaks already now from those who claim to have seen michael kearns testimony will claim to be close to michael cohen that he will document the quote lies racism and cheating of donald trump with a personal behind the scenes anecdotes of trump and his conduct how donald trump
4:40 pm
inflated his wealth his net worth in order to get onto the forbes richest list and deflated his wealth with all of the pay as little tax as possible and also how donald trump directed michael cohen who was his long time lawyer to make those payments to the two women during the presidential campaign who had claimed to have an affair with donald trump the hush money payments which were in violation of campaign finance law according to prosecutors and michael cohen himself. who prosecuted child michael cohen in new york now we did already know all this stuff donald trump was named by prosecutors in legal filings as individual one as the person who directed michael cohen to make those payments so i think in the end what we're going to get is much more quote granular detail on donald trump's conduct and how he how he ran his business also michael cohen's own cooper about how he now decides he can no longer give loyalty to donald trump but not much more than i mean
4:41 pm
but as far as specific bombshell information it doesn't look likely we're going to get that unless and that's where wrong so far i mean we do know that he does have other information about how the trump organization works but a lot of this has been spelled out by various journalists over the years so what impact could this have on trump them. well in the short term and stuff i'm going to detract from donald trump's trip to vietnam to be the north korean leader and certainly there are republicans who say that the democrats in the house oversight committee where he will be testifying publicly on wednesday and that's the real that's the that's the testimony that we're all looking toward is the wednesday testimony before the house oversight committee today senate intelligence committee thursday the house intelligence committee both in private but it's the wednesday just what it will be in public that will certainly detract from a moment with all troubles hoping to be presented as a great statesman on the on the world stage and republicans already saying look that's that's why you've you've you've scheduled this hearing for for wednesday and
4:42 pm
other than that well it was already named in the legal filings by the new york prosecutors as individual one and there is there is department justice guidelines there are that there are about witnesses guidelines of say that a sitting president can't be challenged can't be indicted those investigations they still go on could he could michael cohen say something that makes people in congress go ok now it's time for impeachment very unlikely there's very little do. with the appetite for impeachment among the democrats of the house. doesn't look like very likely that's going to do the things i think it will just be that extra that extra bit of color on stuff that we already know and in fact all trump himself and some of his advisors seem to think that this isn't a sort of terrible thing for him because it does allow him to get into that narrative of there being an irrational unhinged which runs against him thank you for that she have a chance in life force in washington syrian activists say there's been an increase in government as strikes in the rebel controlled province of idlib the sadness

created momentum to hold saga arabia accountable for human rights abuses. we think that the case was incredibly important in twenty thousand if not one of the most important events and not not just because of the horror of what actually happened but because of the very rare international response on this international have been documenting human rights abuses in saudi arabia for years we've very little international interest in it so i think the horror of what happened to come and she has created some momentum which we've seen translate at least on the part of denmark finland and norway into a decision to halt arms sales to saudi arabia and given how they are being used in yemen for the commission of human rights and abuses of international humanitarian law our hope is that that momentum can be sustained in particular towards yemen but also for renewed scrutiny on saudi arabia we are still calling for an independent u.n. investigation into the killing of america should she because only an independent

sexual abuse is apparent to me pal spent much of last year in court a first trial was abandoned after a jury failed to reach a decision but after a second trial a new jury found him guilty but conviction came last december but a legal suppression order banned it from being reported that was because pal was due to face another trial relating to different accusations dating from the one nine hundred seventy s. a judge ordered a legal suppression order banning any reporting of the trials to date in case jurors in the future trial were influenced by what they saw or heard of the previous ones journalists editors even people on twitter were threatened with up to five years in jail if they broke the order but don't choose state prosecutors dropped the future trial so december it can now be reported and people here are demanding tough justice george pell is a monster

this was his job ali thank you the billionaire owner of super bowl champions the new england patriots has been formally charged with soliciting prostitution across case will be her head in a court in early april the seventy seven year old american faces two charges of paying for sex at a spa in jupiter florida he denies the allegations but police say they have video evidence is one of twenty five people facing similar charges connected to larger investigations into human trafficking. when i talk about human trafficking i'm talking about the general subject of human trafficking the larger picture there is no allegation that any of the defendants were involved in human trafficking they are not being charged as such but instead of talking about a particular defendant i like to make the conversation broader human trafficking is built on force fraud. or coercion it is evil in our midst.

it is also fueled by the demand side demands from otherwise law abiding citizens who are. not aware or don't want to be aware about those being exploited. human trafficking often occurs in plain sight which is why i am hopeful that these cases will encourage people to say something if they see something in for victims of this unreported crime to gain the courage to let their voices be heard the pilot involved in the plane crash that killed cardiff city football or maybe on a cell or did not have a license for commercial flights that's according to investigators they've released their first report looking into the crash which killed by sila and pilot david abbott's and includes new images of the wreckage of the plane which was found thirteen days after it crashed into the english channel in january. we know that there's two organizations that are connected to this aircraft one in the united states and one in the united kingdom neither of those organizations had applied for
4:53 pm
permission for this aircraft to be used on a commercial basis and the civil aviation authority has not being able to find any record that has given out a clearance for the aircraft to be operated commercially so the bit of the picture we're missing is now the information from the federal aviation authority and we will be asking them to provide that information the pilot had a private a private pilot's license and we'll be looking at the licensing in the validity of the license as part of our investigation but the problem we have at the moment is that his license was lost with the aircraft and the license would be the primary source of information for the validity so we're having to try and find that information elsewhere at the moment the radar information we have is quite detailed and it shows the aircraft in a turn through about one hundred eighty degrees and in that turn the aircraft descended and then towards the end of the turn it climbed again and that's the last date information we have from the radar so what we'll be trying to do is to see if
4:54 pm
we can get some of the evidence from the wreckage of the seabed to see if we can connect that lost radar information with the way the aircraft hit the surface of the sea to see whether or not that we can describe in greater detail the final final moments of the flight friend of much as it set to leave scottish champion celtic can become the new manager of leicester city celtic have given rodgers permission to talk to the two thousand and sixteen premier league when it has less to sack their manager told on sunday with the club having lost five of the past six games one of arches his main rivals in scotland his rangers boss steven gerrard he managed at gerrard cheering his time at liverpool the former england captain says they would be good news for leicester. things don't ever so well at celtic over the last few years so it's no surprise that all the clubs are watching them and. i want to acquire the services because he's done a very good job another staff work with prince on always a very good coach. unless that have obviously decided to turn the clock or who i
