a seemingly very very windy balcony rob veronica is making landfall at any moment. that's right it has already made landfall the stars here at about one hundred kilometers further down the coast from where we are standing at it it is at about this time of the saturday session twenty four hours ago now that the authorities here put into place this site closed red alert that's the alert to tell people basically to take cover there's trouble coming up but much about the time we have been subjected to a run occur in the past twelve hours also pretty sick veronica not a full force it's being out at sea gaining in strength very very slow the east too slowly for many people that's being gradually moving along the coast that is now making landfall if i can just give you a little look here at the shoreline it has actually. come to less while that it was

a couple of hours ago we've just gone past the high tide period when we could addition to the high tide we've had the storm surge of an extra couple of meters of water to port is a very low lying area that we've been now watching gold along this coast to the surface but crashing over into those lying areas here beyond the coast road but we are expecting in the coming days quite a lot of flooding which is going to be exacerbate the poles by the rain with all of these storm systems they also drag and large rain bands and so we're expecting in the next few days very heavy rain we see here on this part of the coastline up drug of fifty millimeters of rain we could easily see that amount of rain again there before the end to this storm and to give you some idea that's by basically a year's worth of rain in just a few days start you know a very wet dry on the ride for some port hedland do stay safe thank you for that update.
