fact sleeping in the capitol visitor center you cannot take more than 2 steps in the blocks surrounding the capitol complex without seeing armed soldiers there standing guard this of course is a security ramp up after what's been accused by many as being the security failure that resulted in the mob violence of last week here in the capital the f.b.i. had apparently intelligence that a quote unquote war was being discussed in different websites leading up to last wednesday but it appears that there was little action in preparation taken about that which led to the storming of the capitol of we've seen those images now thousands of supporters breaking into the capitol leading to the deaths of 5 people the f.b.i. and the justice department says now they are tracking down everyone involved there

are 170 investigations i believe about 70 people charged already and they're looking ahead into the inauguration certainly with some trepidation knowing that the intelligence remains that more armed insurrections are in the planning and now that we have this impeachment vote done with it we have heard from president trump today trying to lower the temperature it's not what he was saying a day ago of course when he said you better be careful what you wish for went to congress when they were still debating removing him from office using the 25th amendment so again there is a lot of uncertainty as we go forward as far as what to what happens next with this impeachment as well as what security and. the planned protests that are

surround. the upcoming inauguration in terms of trump leaving the white house do we know anything atoll about what has what the speculation is if you like about the way in which donald trump is going to eventually walk away from the white house well we know is that it will be very different than what usually happens you know usually the outgoing president and the incoming one need to gather they usually share some nice words share hours together in the white house getting a tour biden has already known as the white house well of course i don't mean that it's still true there because we now have the video that you were referring to earlier from donald trump and let's just have a listen to what he's been saying the political spectrum i want to be very clear i unequivocally condemn the violence that we saw last week violence and vandalism have absolutely no place in our country and no place in our movement making america

great again has always been about defending the rule of law supporting the men and women of law enforcement and up holding our nation's most sacred traditions and values mob violence goes against everything i believe in and everything our movement stands for no true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence no true supporter of mine could ever disrespect law enforcement or our great american flag no true supporter of mine could ever threaten or harass their fellow americans if you do any of these things you are not supporting our movement you're attacking it and you are attacking our country we can not tolerate it. tragically over the course of the past year made so difficult because of covert 19 we have seen political violence spiral out of control we have seen too many riots

too many mobs too many acts of intimidation and destruction it must stop whether you are on the right or on the left a democrat or republican there is never a justification for violence no excuses no exceptions america is a nation of laws those who engaged in the attacks last week will be brought to justice now i am asking everyone who has ever believed in our agenda. to be thinking of ways to ease tensions calm tempers and help to promote peace in our country there has been reporting that additional demonstrations are being planned in the coming days both here in washington and across the country

i have been briefed by the u.s. secret service on the potential threats every american deserves to have their voice heard in a respectable and peaceful way that is your 1st amendment right but i cannot emphasize that there must be no violence no law breaking and no vandalism of any code and everyone must follow our laws and obey the instructions of law enforcement i have directed federal agencies to use all necessary resources to maintain order in washington d.c. we are bringing in thousands of national guard members. to secure the city and ensure that a transition can occur safely and without incident like all of you i was shocked and deeply saddened by the calamity at the capitol last week i want to thank the
