sancho representing upon african spans and his support is in line with that sentiment as well. i'm saying that we don't want friends in move not, not pull up because as well. that's why we, we so that the protest is attacked, the, the french businesses in 2021 and, you know, in the future, if the protest continue, we might be able to see the same things that gave me more. so i want to get back to a point that you were trying to make a moment ago. um, the question i have women's rights groups in, senegal have expressed concern that the sancho raped trial has set back women's rights in the country. what was it about the case that has so just made some of this and advocates for women's rights and send a go. the women have been used for this case that has underlying political matters. and that's their most the human news in this process. and that's the, that's where the whole problem comes with

a putting the cloud over all the fight that women have gone through in order to have these laws applied and respected in the country. and so here we have a one would look, use the freight, but a man accused of rate. but because there is no proof and because of so many issues, new attached to politics over the case of race itself. people know we're just not give any attention to the real cases of. busy of, of, of sexual assaults and gatherings together, gender issues. it brings all together just issues that women will go through when it comes time for them to stand up and talk about the weight cases. so it's just a cloud over politics has been clouding the gender issues and have been cut right? the question of weight and how far women have come to fight for their rights. and some of them are j. um, let me ask you if tensions continue to escalate in senegal, what are the concrete steps that can be taken to try to calm things down?

a successful appeal by him. but that's very unlikely because the quote in separate cases refused his appeal. so he will most likely be eliminated from the race and picking uh behind the boss. and in terms of the, uh, the improvements it's 2 years considering that house, uh, have you know, a young song core is and, and how a galvanized huge support each bible support from the public. i do not foresee that the, this is the end of a song quotes, political feature. he will definitely remain as a significant in the center of the lease of politics moving forward. but they are the 2, you know, they're 2 different, a specific here in the context of protests. they're 2 different scenarios either. um, cell battery hosketler, oppressively squashed protests. uh, take a sancho behind the boss and we'll go ahead but the top. com. that means that includes in all 3 of them in the country or in the 2nd. the 2nd scenario is

if one of the things young people are taking away from this moment is if you own people in, senegal are seeing this moment as their opportunity to put pressure on the government and address the issues that are impacting them. the most very, very simply put, the young people do not want a 3rd time for president like this out. and they do not want to see what they call their last chance for their hopes and dreams to come to pass. just disappear with song simply, but they don't want a 3rd time. they do not want salt to be put in jail because there's a history of candy this putting a new aside because the president doesn't want them to run for presidential. that's if we have less than a minute, murray roget. if microsoft does announce that he will seek a 3rd term, will more people come out into the streets? do you believe that will be the case? oh probably they i. i think it people don't like the idea that
