a lot to sol and i heard this firsthand, it was brought to my attention. it was not brought to my attention in japan, it's not generally talked about in polite company. now there's an opportunity beyond really the camp, david's summit for people in this region to engage with each other more in a, in a truth and reconciliation campaign that we all want to live more peaceably together. and perhaps this is an opportunity for that not to give her up to go to war, but rather to come to terms with how we're going to reconcile the past with the present . yeah, i share any given the i'm going to you between soccer in japan. up until now, how fragile is disagreement and how may perhaps future elections change the dynamic of disagreement. and i think that you story,

allies in japan and south korea, and i think china is i the aware of this? i think one of the things to bear in mind is on the ongoing north korean nuclear missile threat on how this is being changed and playing out in the wake of the provide let's just b c. but the united nations security council folding losses invasion of ukraine. so i think it, you know, the us does need to continue focusing on strengthening its economic yes. but also security relations, whether it's historic, how is in northeast asia and i think tojo and so um would one of that as well they would well, not quite clearly. yeah, nancy, is it based? japan and south crew in range of the north christmas all tests female because she does say that north korea at the thread is only becoming larger from north griff. how does this summits in the agreements? how does it fits in?

how does north career fit into the and well, north korea continues to be the, the major irritant. and whenever the missile flies over japan, the, the feeling of in security here, and the support for japan having some better capability in defense goes way up at the same time, you know, economic concerns are prevalent here across the region with inflation and, and incomes of staying flat and so people you know, are little bit wavering and their public opinion. and as i said with security, we need to broaden it out and, and north korea is going to continue to do what it does. and uh, i think the us and japan and south korea working together, but also working within this region to try to dampen of

a triggering some type of an accidental occurrence. that is probably the biggest worry rather than an intentional or breaking out. and also, and, and what's happening in the south china sea, it was interesting to monitor the summit and to watch the press or, and how buying and really play down china. he mentioned china at the very end. but he said that this summit was more about cooperation and building cooperation in the region and less about taking on china and you know, militarily, so we'll see how this plays out. this is not a one off, this is supposedly going to be an annual summit amongst the 3. and this could be the beginning of something really quite special. but we'll, we'll see in the context of elections how it happens. and every time they make note crew will be high on the, on the agenda. surely. how does china play the north korea cod?
