there is no limit to how far a dream contains sta in your own adventure, no. counter avenues. the the the hello, i'm jessica washington. this is a news l. a live from to her, coming up in the next 60 minutes. reports that several medical stuff at north gauze is kinda odd. one hospital has been killed in the fires stones advise rarely forces the un says it has lost contact with the hospital and who owns that israel must comply with international humanitarian law. the syrians observe
12:01 am
a day of celebration and remembrance, honoring the victims of decades of dictatorship. as a vice john airlines reveals external interference was most likely the cause. the crush that killed 38 people at nasa makes history with his face crops making the closest ever approach to the sun. i'm far as small with his 4th arsenal . have a chance to go up to 2nd in the premier league there currently and action again, struggling, ipswich patel are tough to side, can go within 6 points of leaders, a liver pool. the we begin with breaking news from northern casa medical sources. have told down to 0
12:02 am
that several medical stuff has been killed in fires started when is rarely forces storm to come out. one hospital operating rooms and it's emergency department has been destroyed early as 350 people, including over patients and stuff were forced to evacuate. their location is unknown and the contact with the facility has been lost, started as a begin so coverage from data by in place for healing. now, in battle ground, one of the last, what king hospitals in building comes up is bedding, moments before a member of the stuff managed to deliver this message, get you to learn your hospitalization recommended one way of living in the cell as of the ends of the model and what i think they need us to buy the common stock hands on it. i'm going to enter the whole you guys and research the doctors in guns or say contact with college. one hospital has been lost on the face of more than
12:03 am
300 people. that is, and many was sick and injured and some unable to move when the morning light appeared and he's rarely tanks during the hospital gate, things were getting out of control is where he's asked doctor for some to evacuate the hospital completely. they said no one under any circumstances would be allowed to stay except the very critically wounded people. they ordered women to remove the hid job for inspection and asked men to stay half naked, also for inspection. seeing injured people and people with special needs leaving broke our hearts. these way, these have no mercy. the facility has been on the front line of israel's will for nearly 3 months. on the siege. it's doctors and nurses, what type it's buildings shoot. it supplies blocked and the last act
12:04 am
of intimidation on medical stuff is about troops gave them 15 minutes to evacuate. and since it's roots on fire, they have killed those ends in the area code and get how much strong quote do think the wounded. who now have know what to go yet is really strikes on the noise have newly taught it was forces getting more than the dose and people in shooting up one district the last button back of a data. since the early morning. we've been looking without any tools or equipment using only our hands to plot remains what you can hold, what is when we are collecting pieces of human flesh, so they want to eat and if i cut some dogs, i know we haven't found a single intact body they are on human remains. there's some children and women, others all on the account at full, trapped on the what's left of this residential building for displace palestinians he endeavoring by law. they live and see what this means to them. to see it as
12:05 am
a part of as well as policy to empty out moving garza and to preventing them to return to their homes. the target companies out there is by post on monitoring developments, how dissolute joins me now live from. i'm on and jordan and a reminder that she's reporting from there because he's really authorities of band over 0 from reporting in israel. honda what more we hearing about what's happening in and around to the hospital. the medical sources have told is 0 that 5 medical staff work or is at the command i'd want hospital in the north were essentially burned to live after fires were started when these really army took siege to the medical facility. now these really military denies these claims in a statement. and in fact, earlier on friday, releasing a lengthy statement saying that they're targeting the hospital because base a quote from us writers are using it as
12:06 am
a strong coal. but we have to know that these are claims that have been made by these really military time and time again. in fact, the last siege on the same hospital was just a couple of months ago back in october in which these really military still failed to provide any proof that the medical facility was being used by him us, or any sort of palestinian fighters in gaza. these really military also set in their statement that they insured safe evacuations of civilians and medical personnel. but of course, that is not true. the reality on the ground shows them much different situation, but this is israel's playbook. this is the military's go to when beseeching medical facilities and effects come at what is the only functioning hospital in northern dawn. so that can provide some sort of medical care to people who are under constant bombardment in siege, jessica and home to just in the past few minutes, the world health organization has released the statement. what's been said as
12:07 am
well, the w h o has denounced this is really military incursion into the hospital saying that this is going to have tightest profit consequences. and that is because again, this is the only functioning medical facility in the north. the military says that they facilitated evacuation of civilians to another medical facility, but they can not receive the life saving care or any sort of medical care with whatever is left at camellia edwin. wherever else in the nor the w h o is also calling for a ceasefire, saying that the sieges on medical facilities in general need to end. but israel usually dismisses any sort of claims by the united nation, any sort of push back against their policies. they dismiss them and they in fact dismiss any sort of human rights organization or world entity or body that is critical of their policies. with none the less, this is what these really military does a claim,
12:08 am
but how much does using these medical facilities? let's remind our viewers that most notably more than a year ago, back in november of 2023. when the read on and shift the hospital began. these really military still to this day did not provide any proof that the hospital was being used by fighters. it's very important context a honda and how is this being covered in the is rarely media as well. look in is really media anything these really military says is the truth to these really public and to these really media. it's essentially the final say. so they don't see the same image is out of gone so that the rest of the world sees they do not see the same testimony from people on the ground that we show our view or so it was really media is covering this as these really military trying to destroy him a strong hold in the command as one medical facilities. but again, there has still been no proof of that. but because these really military has
12:09 am
repeatedly done this repeatedly, the same medical facilities threw out the gaza strip using it as an excuse to be seeds them. and i want to also note something else that happened in his really media today regarding a ceasefire that people think it's simply not going to happen. around half of respondents to one is really media pull headset, but they believe benjamin netanyahu was stalling on a deal because he thinks that his coalition is going to collapse and around half of the country thinks that. so whatever the is really media is reporting is exactly what the armies saying and that information goes into the public and is revealed as their truth when again, the reality on the ground shows a much different and catastrophic situation. honda, thank you. that's honda sound, reporting from the u. n. has called on all sides in the conflict to respect and protects medical personnel and it says you and stuff in guns
12:10 am
a will making efforts to gain access to the hospital. gabriel and his own to reports from un headquarters in new york. i had a brief thing that you, when confirmed that they no longer have contact with campbell edwin hospital, they're trying to gather as much information on the situation there as they can. but the un did say within the last 36 hours before is real storm the facility they confirmed that it is really air strike near the hospital, killed many people, including health care workers and patients. here's a little bit more of what was said in that briefing. what is the message from the secretary general on the protection of the patients and hospital staff and anyone else that is an accountant for right now from come allowed? what hospital, these actions put the lives of all of these people in even more danger than what they faced before. and for us, you know, what we can do,
12:11 am
we have colleagues underground who continue to try to get access. if israel is holding any doctors, any patients, anyone associated with that hospital, including journalists right now, if israel is holding them, detaining them against their will. what is the message from the secretary general to israel about that? i can just reiterate the message that we've been delivering from here several times that we call on all parties to comply with their obligation to respect to protect and all circumstances, medical personnel, including hospitals, medical facilities, in accordance with international humanitarian law. the un also said within the last 3 months, they have made numerous requests to is rarely authorities to deliver aid to the north of gaza. you and says israel has denied most of those request including one as recently as wednesday, gabriel's on to l, just here at united nations,
12:12 am
new york. to right, let's stay on this breaking news situation. i'm joined to now live by delta months . gilbert who is an emergency medicine doctor, is works for more than 30 years in gaza, and he joins us now live on the owners here and use our from also talk to thank you for joining us. let's begin with what you've been hearing because i understand that you have been speaking consistently with the health industry. yes, i just spoke to a doctor. you said a voice, the 15 minutes from the house in got up. and he confirmed that come out of the hospital has now been completely emptied by force of these really occupation forces that the 25 seriously wounded and sick of patients who were not forced out to the hospital earlier today. now probably are on their way to the so called in donation hospital, have a nice, a so called it is because these really occupation forces has destroyed the
12:13 am
functional capability of the in the nation hospital. so when they say that they are in some ways safely recreated to be in the nation. also this is the light and the other lice. and he also told me about the importance news that a few days that. busy the minister of health staying in the glass of the policy news, they offered these really occupation forces on the co got authorities to have that is really military personnel. station the inside come all of the hospital to watch whatever, what's going on, because they said they have nothing to, to hide. and there is, as your report is that absolutely no proof whatsoever. that there has been any military activity from the resistance inside the commodities along. these really is refused states and what we see today is disastrous. they have and in the last standing hospital in northern gossip for more than 50000 people,
12:14 am
more people will die from avoidable pulses. and these really reason forces are reaching out absolutely more on historical low when it comes to attacking patients, stuff, medical personnel and the people have got, sorry, it's unbelievable. what's going on, doctor, we've heard these reports that medical sources have told to 0 that several medical stuff were killed inside the hospital. essentially they burned to death because there was no way of leaving the hospital. is that something that the health ministry has been able to communicate any information on with, you know, with the, the last conversations i had with the doctor, you'll see somebody's just a few minutes ago. but it is a confirmed that 2 days ago this really occupational forces belonged to a tower, an apartment building close to come on that one and killed around 50 civilians. and they also, during that, that tact killed 5 medical staffers, one pediatrician,
12:15 am
one lab technician, one other person from come on either one and 2 ambulance paramedics. so these 5 were killed a few days ago in line with the policy of these 3 and the occupation forces to kill health care personnel. we know that they have so far appealed more than a 1000 doctors, nurses, probably medics and medical interiors in garza during the last 14 months. so this is not by you around them. this is an operational strategy of these really occupational forces. it is to attack health care and health care workers at through that to this cottage, the resistance, and to force that people to surrender. this will never happen. and doctor, of course, the important context is that this is not the only hospital that has been targeted, as you've just noted. give us a sense of what the ministry has told you about the state of the other hospitals because many of them are of course,
12:16 am
over capacity and struggling as well. sure. the situation is, is desperate and disastrous for old hospitals in god's huh. and let me just remind your viewers that only less than half of the the public sit in the hospital think us are, are currently operating because of this each and because of direct the tax on the hospital is the largest gross in the south deluxe. on to the national hospital and the got say you repeat enough to have more than 200 percent of the capacity with patients and they receive a load. so patients every day, they lack a medical supplies that drugs, they liked food, they like the motors, they lack of power fuel for the generators. and these really effect forces are constantly targeting the hospitals. and i have to say, i feel ashamed as a way to repeating doctor that the european governments have not been standing up
12:17 am
to their moral obligation, that international commitment to international law. because health care is neutral and should be protected and should be defended. what asked the european governments, have been by putting israel supporting them and never stood up against the united states, who has the core responsibility for what is going on. so if there is a milligram left of the mortality in western governments now is the time to stand up and say enough is enough stop the attack. the attacks on health care in gaza and in the west bank. i mean post ceasefire immediately. that's the only sort of doctor, thank you so much for your time. that's a dr. match scale was joining a slide from also israel is, was, has collab sconces, health care system. in october, the un accused israel of carrying out what is called a concerted policy to destroy health care in the strip. the world health

organization says move in 1200 attacks have been launched on health facilities in the occupied palestinian territories since israel launched it's for an april 2020 full guns as largest hospital. el cheapo was destroyed during and is rarely siege, leaving hundreds of people did. the un says only 17 of guns as 36 hospitals are still functioning, but only partially with non providing full services due to shortage of stuff and equipment. more than a 1000 health care workers have been killed since october the 7th last year like stuck in that is an international lawyer and a former senior official with honora, that's the you, an agency for palestinian refugees. he says evacuations of hospitals can only be ordered in exceptional circumstances of their normal uh uh, presumption in international humanitarian, born and normal. uh uh,

and it's not just didn't take it started across the entire safe sex relation. i mean, the new type projects and visitors basically finding ways for chinese goods to make their way to you up to the west. other countries, some of these routes by cost rusher and ends and central asia is basically the only game in town. if he wants to buy his bypass the, well, i'm in the southern route and rush driven know try to certain risk. so it is incredibly important for the chinese 2222 increases influence in that region. alex, i recall at the time of the 2023 central asian leaders summit that was held and she on and when i was there at the time, there was this ongoing discussion about whether this growing influence of china full central asia indicates some sort of decline in terms of russia's fear of influence, or whether there's some sort of differentiation between, well, a central asia can work with china on economic matches. but in terms of security matches, there's a clear prioritization of working with russia. what are your thoughts on that? i mean, yes, district the show china investor, i have as

the russians have effectively shut down and as a by johnny simply an airplane. and in fact, uh not just denying it, but in fact they denied the airplane, the trunk, steven line say for example. so it looks like it's might even have been basically murder. so, i mean we're looking at roster is not doing it so any favors in central asia. i sold at the moment in terms of in terms of increasing installations. but the reason i like so just contextualize that information that you've just said for our audience, in terms of the plane crash. so from what we know, this is very much the early stages of the investigation, but royces and all the media reporting that's sources. and also by john said that russia's ed defense system was responsible for the crush. there was, of course, a long process ahead in terms of the investigation, but we all seen some commentary from those of asian, including local media that, that russia may have been the responsible actor here. and if that is the case, how significant is that in terms of the relationship between russia and also by john as well. i mean, the, as by johns, the last big,
12:42 am
the 3 to 5 years is increasingly taking a closer relationship with russia. i mean, it just days before the 2022 ukraine more profound investor, russian invited ukraine of the president of us. but you all know they've signed a treaty of alliance with russia. so a country that traditionally the tended to, to lean west in terms of its oil pipelines and gas pipelines. actually that's been increasingly leading to a dresser and frustrating the ton as i suppose that's a by john and, and basically allowed it to retake a regent is speaking with, i mean, you're not going to care of us. having said that, this is going to absolutely put a fly in the ointment of that in terms of relations being best or not. so by john, having said that, i think it's doubtful that you know this, this instance serious though it was um, will in the long term change if the school is a semester as a by john's resources. if i some of the case. but the malaysian airlines plane, which also shut down by pro sniffles,
12:43 am
is felicia obviously still has relationship to russia. so in terms of the politics, it might not be that's in significant by itself. but in the context of, you know, russia increasing the behavior in ways that's antagonize it's made, was increased including its 7 allies. it's, it's death by 1000 cops or russia and investor is, is, is increasingly behaving in ways that split itemized antagonizes neighbors. and this is just one that's one of those instance on those of the families. and both of us is a tragedy. i mean they, it's not only being, as potentially shut down by russian, that defense, but the russian directions and allow of the plains land in gross need. they actually extended it across the seeds of catholic stone, which, you know, might have cost some people they liked. so as much as i said, you know, if that is true about beds out, it would be, you know, more kids, a mazda than an accident. thank you, alex, that's alex governor who is the executive director of the democratic security institute. a nasa has made history by flying
12:44 am
a spacecraft closer to the sun than any other man made object in history. the cops you all took off in 2018 from cape canaveral if chism good food has this report. what exactly goes on on the sun surface? that's what this spacecraft is trying to find out and for that it needed to get real close actually last night about 11 50 pm eastern time. we got back a green beacon from the parker solar pro space craft indicating that it's successfully completed. humanity's closest approach to a star. ready exist ever fly by uh to the sun and, and really just an amazing achievement. we were able to actually fly through the upper atmosphere of the corona of the sun, which is just an amazing thing. if you think about it, it took the capsule 6 years to travel within 6000000 kilometers of the sun, a long and challenging journey, right?
12:45 am
partner solar probus has actually flown through chromecast injections and, and other things that come off of the sun is just amazing. the see, it's like, i know flying through a storm, right. we, we actually have seen that witness. the been in the middle of one of these things, as it comes off with this on the one of a kind probe has been using venus as gravity to get closer and closer. the successful fly by should not allow scientists to trace the origin of solar winds. a stream of particles that come off the stars out to atmosphere and give us a better idea of how material on the surface is heated to millions of degrees. it'll start sending detail data next week, built to last against heat and radiation. the probe could, however, deliver even more results as it completes its journey under the sun. if to some good foot, i'll just sooner a lump joins now lives like alex young, who is the associate director for science communication at nasa as go to flight
12:46 am
center and he joins me now live from maryland. alex, thank you for joining us on the houses here. and use our, this pocket, solar probe has made history help us to understand exactly how significant this moment is for nasa. well, this is something that scientist has been fainting about in planning for actually over 6 decades at the beginning of the space a when we knew there was stuff out there that space when itself was not empty. one of their goals was to send an object to the sun to fly through its atmosphere. and we have studied it in incredible detail from the ground and from space, but always from a distance. and so the only way that we can really fill in all the pieces of the puzzle about how the son works is to actually go there. and now we have done that for the 1st time in history. and alex, as you say, with feeling and pieces here of the puzzle of how the son works,
12:47 am
what will this knowledge actually be used for? how will this help people in that daily lives to? well, the sun is constantly spitting out of material magnetic and electric fields. there's a flow that comes out of particles called the solar wind. but sometimes the sun will, per se huge touch billions of tons of solar material. and that travels to the solar system, interacting with everything, and then our gaze and interact with the earth and the atmosphere. and that has direct impact on our technology. it can damage our satellites. once we depend on, you can disrupt our communications. and in the most extreme cases, it can even knock out power grid. so our technological society, which is becoming more and more sophisticated, actually is becoming more and more susceptible to this outflow from the sun. and so that is why it is critical for us to understand how it works,
12:48 am
so that ultimately we could predict it just like we can predict storms here on our alex, if you could put us in, put this in the proto international context. of course, are many countries in this, i suppose the space race. are there any other countries in this space programs looking specifically at the sun in this way? yes, there are several different space agencies. most notable would be east of the european space agency. it hasn't really a new mission called solar orbit, or which is actually complimentary to sup, parker solar pro, providing additional information about how the size atmosphere is sending out energy, how it's impacting us. but there are also other groups. the for example, the u. k. met office korea has us, but it's, you know, uh, south tree it has a space with our agency. so this is important to all of the space faring countries
12:49 am
in the world because their technology, their spacecraft, are dim, practice. but more importantly, our global infrastructure is impacted. this is not something that is specific to in a country that impacts everyone. and so it's important for list to be an international effort to understand our start and how it impacts us. alex, thank you. that's alex young from nasa. the still ahead on i'll just say is for twana sailings. most iconic races has been overshadowed by the depths of 2 compasses. so be here with us to the the

[000:00:00;00] the type of support. now here's jessica. thank you so much. are still on currently one lap against switch and the 2nd half of their primarly clash has the gunners look to move back up to 2nd in the staff. thanks. playing live out the injured kind of saca, his replacement lands or to start so that high hybrid foot 23 minutes in to go one know up to gabrielle is then loved wondering how he didn't make it too now. and the 2nd as well as things stand, it will be 11 matches, and all competitions for the government really should be managed. united manager even a more em admits his job, will be in danger. if he doesn't start winning matches, it was a 3rd defeat in
12:52 am
a row and all competitions for united. this time it's, you know, defeat to wolf's has left them down and 14 in the table. i have no idea, no idea. i just have to use it. instead of oil for me trying to to understand though much time we'll take just they by they will have to work on a lot of things. so you know, out of glove inside the beach outside of the beach. so let's focus on each game each time and um, use every month in unit units of, of training and game to, to improve the team. well, we've been speaking to wayne bar to the football writer. i'm the author of to good to go down. he believes in more and will be given time by the board and doesn't believe united will get drawn into a relegation battle on the job. but months it's not. it is the most our profile probably in the world anyway. so the pressure was coming from day one. it's not being an ideal start, say the least. um, yeah,
12:53 am
the pressure will be mounting because without it being terrific so far um that the speculation will be the obviously will be they will come by. don't think that that will be encouraged by radcliffe or any of the directors. all the people alongside the master. in fact, i think we'll probably hear a little noises about them. supporting him. i'm being pessimistic when i say this, because i feel that the 3 was teams in the division in the month, 59, so i'm fairly safe in feeling that we, we won't go down what's the best we can hold for now. room, but i'm room said recently that you know, we'll have to whether a still united qualify for the champions league only 18 months ago. they will the effect cope against months as the see 6 months ago. i think it's right to question whether or not the storm ship necessarily be the spot i. i felt that we was still well equipped to be challenging for champions league places at the time that we dismissed at org. i felt of that was the point of bringing them on and get to the

rest of the klein of you might even say about the my struggle to make top off with the way the plane at the moment, which is not a thing that i would expect that i would ever be said about mind fishing id in december to australia as prime minister anthony alban. ac says it's heartbreaking that 2 sailors have died in the sidney tobart your race experience crew members were killed in separate incidents. david stokes reports one of savings most iconic races. the sidney to hi bought has been rocked by the depths of 2 competitors on 2 separate boats. it is the 1st loss of life in this prestigious event in 26 years. the signing community is a very close community, and there's about a 1000 silence on the watering this rise and to lose to in this fashion is just a, the state of police are investigating exactly what happened to the, to experience sailors. but it's believed 55 year old boy quite and was struck by the boom. a horizontal pole which holds down the sales. and 65 year old nick smith

was not sorry, but by the main sheets and hit his head on a metal which does distance might have been changing styles at the time. so it would actually like silent with the wings. so that creates a different set of circumstances, the whole moves the cells moving the boons and moving the technical changes. so let's see. these are the 1st steps in the race since 1998. when 6 sailors died into major storm and incident, which led to mass reforms, the safety particles. although the weather was nice at the start this year, and sidney several boats have subsequently pulled out because of the conditions. forecast was strongly used to go forth with these flights can kind of handle the screens these their, their ocean devices. they used to those ways. it was my experience the sydney to who bought this been around for 79 years, boats race just over 1100 kilometers from new south wales to the state capital of

that. that's, you know, something goes, it's always going to kind of follow us no matter what happens in our lives. you know, we're public public persons simona how observed their own 9 mom, suspension for doping and her return to ground. so i'm trying to separate this up back from this january. so sterling opened due to me and shoulder pain injury disruption. so that means she's only played a 5 matches since for turning in march or of friendship scarce supreme cyrus and suffered a head injury after falling while training for the work of downhill in borneo. aly, the 30 year old to one of the venue last year. wanted to go surgery stars and was training on the sloped set to be used for the 2026th winter olympics. and in the nfl, a late interception silva narrow window for the seattle seahawks of the chicago bears the extreme victory. keeping the seahawks in with a chance of reaching the plan. okay,
