too. a wintry strt to the day. pockets of frost further north, but nothing too widespread. in general temperatures higher. a lot of cloud across the west of scotland. murky up across the west of scotland. murky up over the high ground with the odd lightish drizzly shower and they will continue on and off particularly over the higher ground. but most of us will be dry. a good few of us will enjoy sunshine, but for some of us, it will abstruggle. notably across the heart of england where some of that fog will linger all day long. temperatures typically mid—single figures. milder than that across the far north—west of scotland. but where that fog lingers and we are expecting that to be across parts of the midlands, temperatures will struggle to get above freezing all day long. the fog will reform and by thursday it could be widespread across england and wales. again, it will be difficult to nail down the detail of where that fog will be and when it will lift. in some places it will linger. another chilly feeling day across
