to do with him. he's not confrontational but to me, it doesn't sit well if you play for another country. but don't feel bad about him or anything like that, but for me, it's baffling to why and he lives in slovenia as well. i don't think he really believes he's british, i reckon it'sjust the citizenship will come lived here for five years, it'sjust citizenship will come lived here for five years, it's just a citizenship will come lived here for five years, it'sjust a bit different. i always find nationality is very difficult, towel concept to define. i would say in my dealings with bedene having got to know him over the past four years, he's been in the past four years, he's been in the uk, the has been his main base since 2008, there is no doubt that he feels fairly british. how british, only he can answer. you are in madrid preparing for a match that you will be commentating on in the next few minutes. that could provide some awkward moments to say the least. yes. it's maria sharapova

in. tennis in this form was only invented in 1984, but as the sport has grown, so has the competition. this will be another step up for the players and their coaches. i'm extremely proud to be a part of the team going and travelling as a coach. i think it's going to be an absolutely fantastic learning opportunity to see what the standard is, what is going on in other countries. and to get the players to inspire the next generation. and just get the sport promoters, because it is travelling such a long way. the first eight become the first number one, but it is hoped that blind tennis could become a paralympic sport in the future. that's all from sportsday. there'll be more sport here on bbc news throughout the evening. you are watching bbc news. the top
