how does it taste? fantastic. noidea no idea what was in it at all. manchester city have been the summer's heaviest spenders so far in the transfer window and they have made another huge signing today by buying full—back bernard mendy from monaco. the 23—year—old france international has signed a five—year contract for a fee believed to be in the region of £52 million. and that is a world record for a defender. pep guardiola has so far spent something in the region of £130 million on fullbacks alone. joining me now is bbc‘s football analyst pat nevin. a couple of football headlines to get through tonight, but let's start

with manchester city. it's clear pep guardiola has got a war chest. he is building from the back, isn't he? actually i think he has built from the front before and now he has just got round to the back. he just ignored the defence for such a long time. he has cleared it out. talk about amazing numbers. look at the fence, 135 million for fullbacks. about amazing numbers. look at the fence, 135 million forfullbacks. he bought the goalkeeper in as well, that's a. add—ons that the defenders bought last year as well, they weren't cheap. he should have a defence that is not too bad this season. defence that is not too bad this season. the oddest thing is, i still don't think it's finished. a month and a bit, isn't there, the transfer window. 200 million counting. and a bit, isn't there, the transfer window. 200 million countinglj think window. 200 million counting.” think defences and finished yet. if company is injured, and he has been quite a lot. if he's not hundreds of all the games i think there is space there at centre back that he might need someone else for. a huge amount of money so far but don't hold your breath. any good, benjamin mendy?

monaco champions. they surprised quite a few people in the champions league. he has that pedigree. he has that and no surprise when you look at pep guardiola. he can attack as well. look at kyle walker. he is an attacking full—back. that's what he's all about and what he wants his tea m he's all about and what he wants his team to do. chelsea had on them. alvaro morata, the marquee signings so alvaro morata, the marquee signings so far. for antonio conte. a decent buy? he will make his debut at bayern munich tomorrow. more than a decent buy. i'd argue he's a better bet than romelu lukaku would have been the chelsea. purely because he isa been the chelsea. purely because he is a more intelligent player, he holds the ball better. a hard work at the lu ka ku, holds the ball better. a hard work at the lukaku, lukaku is stronger and a great score and he has the pedigree in the premier league, but for me, alvaro morata will fit chelsea down to a tee. however, remember, chelsea fans have long

memories. we remember it did not work fish and go, it did not work forfun to work fish and go, it did not work for fun to rise, work fish and go, it did not work forfun to rise, we work fish and go, it did not work for fun to rise, we are work fish and go, it did not work forfun to rise, we are hoping he will be more of a didier drogba. virgilvan dijk came will be more of a didier drogba. virgil van dijk came down from scotland, coveted by many. he has been left out their pre—season tour to france because the manager says he's not right in the head, he wants out. this is brinkmanship. we have all seen it before. it's a stick on that he will move before the tra nsfer that he will move before the transfer window closes. liverpool, everton. . . ? transfer window closes. liverpool, everton...? i transfer window closes. liverpool, everton. . . ? i don't transfer window closes. liverpool, everton...? i don't think transfer window closes. liverpool, everton. . . ? i don't think it will be everton. . . ? i don't think it will be everton. liverpool is the most likely because that's where he wants to go. we know they want as well. all the other clubs, would arsenal taken? all the other clubs, would arsenal ta ken? absolutely. man all the other clubs, would arsenal taken? absolutely. man city? in a heartbeat. there are lots of clubs. i'd even an chelsea to that as well. what they have to do is get the best money they can, hence brickman ship. thanks for your thoughts. five live, sports tonight? 7:30pm. always a

search was conducted of land around the farmhouse where he was last seen, and a second site close by, after it emerged the toddler might have been crushed to death by a digger. and now, on the 26th anniversary of his disappearance, a possible breakthrough. signs of blood have been found on items recovered by police during last year's search. some of the items that we brought back we submitted for further forensic work, and the result that to date, i'm led to believe, shows signs that there is some human decomposition of around those items that we did bring back from kos. the sandal and toy truck believed to have belonged to ben will now be tested for his dna in aberdeen. about 60 items in total were brought back to the uk for analysis. what we are providing is information that there is a strong indication from this chemical profile that we were able to ascertain, there's a strong indication that this was present on these items
