just wanted to bring you some latest pictures concerning the impact of all that flooding in the states. these are the latest pictures from port arthur in texas, believe. very much need of the other border with louisiana. you can see the sense of people having to get around now, either by wading through the water a lot of time or by boat. people being rescued. in the back ground, you can see a woman waving a white towel, trying to attract attention. people very much concerned by the rising water and sense that they now need to evacuate their homes, which often can only be done by boat. some people chanting at and of course people chanting at and of course people with small children and elderly residents particularly concerned. the emergency services doing their best to reach everybody.

has come to the decision to put the carolyn leckie for maternal grandmother. that comes after various national newspaper supports suggested that the girl had been cared for by muslim foster carers and that had gone against a christian heritage and degale was also encouraged to learn arabic. but tower hamlets council has said those claims are completely inaccurate. they say that the girl was put into an english—speaking family and the family was from a mixed—race origin. we have had the details of this care order today and it says on its as the child was removed on an emergency basis in march earlier this year. we know that the mother had substance abuse issues. we also found out that the maternal grandparents are also of the muslim background. non—practising but muslim background. the mother says the child is from a christian heritage, so there is a row there. tower hamlets council said in its
