welcome along to sport today, live from the bbc sport centre. plenty to bring you. here's what's coming up. the good times are over for carlo ancellotti at bayern munich — the head coach sacked by the german club. the pictures which mean cricketer ben stokes won't be considered for international duty. and the upsets continue at the wuhan open — the world number one beaten by the 20—year—old with a growing reputation. the five—time european champions bayern munich were beaten by paris st germain in the champions league on wednesday, and that was to be the last match in charge of the german champions for carlo ancellotti who was sacked by the club on thursday. and as our football reporter john bennett explains, their results this season only part of the reason behind his departure. there was a defeat in the champions

over the last few days, we've been carefully tracking the progress of hurricane maria, which wrecked puerto rico. lots of weather in the atlantic. a big area of low pressure and a powerfuljetstream over that, a big swell of cloud that looks like a massive ear pushing a band of rain eastwards over the uk over the next 12 hours or so. we will see some rain as we start friday, our main weather front across west scotland and western england and wales. ahead of that, patches of light rain, drizzle and foggy conditions over the hills of southern england, particularly salisbury plains and the downs. a mild start to the morning,
