interesting, we didn't hear much from xijinping on north korea. i'm not sure i heard him refer to north korea at all. but donald trump spoke a lot about it. earlier, at a business gathering, he said china could quickly and easily fix the problem of north korea. i don't know if you use that language when he went face—to—face with xijinping. that is how language when he went face—to—face with xi jinping. that is how we spoke about it with business leaders. interesting that he referred to the north korean menace and he said this, it is interesting, 110w and he said this, it is interesting, now is the time to liberate this region from this nuclear menace. i don't know if he is talking about regime change. the chinese certainly wouldn't be going along with that. if he is talking about ridding the peninsular of nuclear weapons, that isa peninsular of nuclear weapons, that is a different matter. just to say, steve, it is tricky to hear the press conference where you

are, but president xijinping mentioned north korea and he said they have reiterated a commitment to achieve a geenie to arise north korea, and both china and the us would maintain communication on that issue —— denuclearised. as you say, donald trump was much more forthright, and said it would require more collective action. the question is what happens now? it would seem both presidents are at pains to say how historic this meeting has been on the responsibility they both have when it comes to the issue of peace in the region, the korean peninsular, and also beyond that. of course. this wasn't really a press conference, we could say. it was like a statement. they both came out and said something. but it is something to see the two most powerful people in the world up there together saving they will call
