i'm ben brown. a 58—year—old man. whatever it is, i'm not the target audience. but the thing about it is it's made well. to protect children online. that is perfectly understandable and entertaining. to intervene earlier to stop terror is in the right attacks. place. the central sort of message of the film is really interesting. in the austin powers films, has died at the age of 49. makes you think, "ok, i buy this. send—off by the queen. but it's ok, i don't mind, i'll go with it. i'm buying it, yeah. i did go with it and it works surprisingly well. i went in knowing nothing about it at all. i was completely there. taking part in the 26—mile event. really pleasantly surprised. well, and that's always a good thing. it is. to finish in the next juliette binoche. few minutes. a mistra nslation of the original french title. as a film—maker. this is a bit of an oddity.

role. kind of quite brittle, quite sharp, quite satirical comedy. which sort of rises and falls with the movie itself. i have to confess i wasn't entirely won over. i know some people have completely fallen in love with it. i've heard people rave about it. i know some people have found it absolutely infuriating. and i think i fell somewhere between the two. in it which i thought, "0k, fine, enough of this already. strange turns that you don't expect. kept wrong—footing me. for that, i think it needs to be praised. it is an oddity though and it's absolutely not for everyone. and report back. 0k. the final film, i should know the title off by heart. go on. have a run at it. the trailer so many times. it's about guernsey.

that's not necessarily meaning its without charm. and cornwall — not guernsey, as it turns out. "not the right guy"... chuckles. seen in your entire life. a good time making it. the lack of surprise did trouble me slightly. a legacy of occupation. but that is very much in the background. which is a shame because actually, that story in itself is fascinating. fascinating. absolutely. that story has yet properly to be told on screen. this is exactly what you would think from the poster. nicely with a cup

"this is a well—made picture postcard story. deeper than it is. but it's perfectly fine. i smiled occasionally, you know. perfectly fine. "it's perfectly fine," said mark kermode. they're not putting that on the poster. "but jane, i think you'd really like it! and i'm going to say, "mark, i would be scared out of my wits. chiller. i know you are a huge horror movie fan. i'm all about this, yes. my mission is to get you to go and see more horror movies. by monsters who effectively see with their ears.

it's what they hear is, you know how they locate you. so as long as you are silent, you are safe. sound is dangerous. made the audience fall silent. it made the audience go quiet. it's to do with tension, it's to do with atmosphere and build—up. it's about a family. and the way in which the family may or may not hold together. all the performances are very solid. it's really perfectly pitched. using the absence of sound to really draw you in. and i think you'd really like it. just as piece of film—making, it's thrilling. it's edge—of—your—seat stuff. it is scary but it's a horror film. yes. dvd is a fascinating story. 0h, we're moving on now? we're moving on! i didn't know
