some of the most famous steps around in the world when there is a royal baby. the media were first alerted just before 830 this morning with the news that the duchess of cambridge as gone into hospital, she was in the early stages of labour, and then the waiting began. it finished just after one o'clock, an hour ago, when kensington palace and announced they was a new member of the british royal family. announced they was a new member of the british royalfamily. a baby weighing eight lbs and seven ounces. the jadeja of cambridge was present at the birth —— duke. for the hardened royal watchers and the world's media, the news they had been waiting for, a baby boy born just after 11 o'clock this morning weighing eight lbs and seven ounces,
