plans to transform child mental health in england will fail a generation according to mps. 0f health in england will fail a generation according to mps. of its top one in ten children in as a diagnosable mental health condition. many are not receiving help quickly enough. al social affairs correspondent alison holt has been speaking to three young women whose lives have been affected by mental health issues. i was 13 when i first went to the doctor about it and i was told i had anxiety and depression and i was shuffled out i was put on a waiting list for counselling but the waiting list took so long that things have gotten worse by that point. they did not ta ke worse by that point. they did not take me seriously. they ushered me out of the room as if i was not important and blamed it on being a teenager and growing up and hormones. these three all struggled with mental health issues as children. each asked for help and each feel they will let down. for
