hour, and then they will emerge from the chapel as man and wife and make their way down these steps to a horse—drawn carriage, which will ta ke horse—drawn carriage, which will take them on a procession through the centre of windsor and back to the centre of windsor and back to the castle. that procession was rehearsed by the household cavalry earlier this week. today, the couple —— cavalry and harry's old regiment will be in their full ceremonial uniforms, and one of the cavalry and escorted the courage is a soldier who fought alongside harry in afghanistan. everyone is really happy that he has actually found a nice lady, he is going to get married, and it will be no different to anyone else being married. it is a real brotherhood. when one of us does well, we are all happy. and those good wishes from his former army colleagues will be given expression to buy the crowd. many had camped out overnight, tens of thousands more are expected in

6:06 am
arrival is always the moment to look out for, the dress she is wearing, but she has ten bridesmaids, it will be beautifully chaotic i think. that will be the moment to watch. i cannot stress how beautiful the flowers look. it will be absolutely is coming. the schedule of the day, sarah? we have special members of the public. these are the 1200 people are specially chosen and they will start arriving around eight o'clock or nine o'clock. the groom, prince harry, prince william will arrive at st george ‘s chapel at around 1145. the final guest arrives at 855. at one minute to mid— day we will get the first clipsal —— glimpse of meghan markle's dress, and that is when we expect her to arrive. the service begins at 12 and you can watch it all here. the kiss? you were talking about how fantastic

the steps i was the flowers. all the foliage has been taken from the grounds of the windsor park, beautiful white roses, it looks absolutely stunning. that will be your best bet for where the kiss will happen. we know that prince charles, sorry, prince harry will walk around this area. this is where the 1200 members of the public, we believe the plan is that prince harry and prince william will walk all the way down here and through that gate up to the west steps, so that gate up to the west steps, so that will give all these people who had turned up here a real good look at them before the wedding actually starts. we are getting excited. no—one knows what the couple is feeling? thank you very much. we are excited. 100,000 people are expected to line the streets of windsor today, hoping to get a glimpse of the happy couple. a hardy few have spent the last few nights camping on the pavement to secure the best vantage points. andy moore has been to meet some of them. in the darkness around the world of

have been waiting to do this with me i'iow. have been waiting to do this with me now. when you have children, will they come to events like this? probably. some people have travelled thousands of miles to sleep out in the open on a chilly night.” thousands of miles to sleep out in the open on a chilly night. i wanted to come tomorrow morning but then i thought it is getting so crowded that i should come tonight! make sure i get close to seeing the procession. i really wanted to come to see that. and that makes this 100,000 or so at windsor a very select group when set against the several billion who will watch the event on television. lots of people lining the streets, very, very excited. in good spirits as well. british—born photographer alexi lubomirski will be taking the official wedding photographs of prince harry and meghan markle. he was the man behind their engagement photos and has told us to expect a different kind of image to what we are used to from the royal family.
6:10 am
i have been looking at everything from queen elizabeth's wedding pictures all the way through to william and kate, and again, we are trying to do, like witty with a royal engagement pictures, trying to do something a bit different. we wa nted do something a bit different. we wanted to make it a bit more authentic, a bit more about them, a bit more real, and i think that came across in those ones. you won't miss a minute of the big day if you stick with us here on bbc one. a special programme — the royal wedding: prince harry and meghan markle — starts straight after breakfast. huw edwards, kirsty young and dermot 0'leary will be presenting the live coverage. in other news, a 17—year—old has been charged with murder after a school shooting in texas. 10 people were killed and another 10 were injured after dimitrios pagourtzis allegedly opened fire at santa fe high school using two guns that were legally owned by his father. the governor of texas said various explosive devices were also found on the school grounds.

i sat there in shock. i saw the figure fall in the hallway. and after that moment, ijust ran. words cannot describe how i feel because i don't know how to feel. more than 100 people have died after a passenger plane crashed near the cuban capital of havana. according to state media, three people have survived but are in a critical condition in hospital. the boeing 737 was headed to holguin, in the east of the island, but came down in a field shortly after take—off. bmw has announced it will be recalling a further 88,000 vehicles because of a fire risk. earlier this month, an investigation by the bbc‘s watchdog programme found that more than 300,000 of the company's vehicles could be at risk of engine failure. a further 200,000 bmw cars had already been called in for other safety checks. it is 11 minutes past six. good

"welcome to the family." the daily mail — a magically modern royal wedding. many people picking up on the theme of how this wedding is different to previous royal weddings. another picture of meghan of course on the next paper we are looking at. the sun — i'm getting

6:15 am
all night and it has been bitterly cold! as forecast. as forecast! and it is wonderful to be here and it will be a fabulous day! lots of sunshine! you have another outfit to change into? i will not be wearing my bobble hat all day. i have a lovely red, white and blue dress and a little fascinator. you have a fabulous day! it is nice to see her majesty and prince harry and megan as well. ladies in crowns. if you wondering, and everyone here is too, what the forecast for the royal wedding is today, it is a good one. as helen said a chilly start. temperatures five degrees but quickly it will pick up and the maximum temperature today is likely to be about 21 celsius but at noon, 17. warming up nicely, wall—to—wall blue skies, it will be a cracker of
6:16 am
a day if you like it funny and warm. that is the scenario across many parts, a cold start, temperatures in east anglia below freezing but we have the sunshine and any missed and fog lift readily, with the exception across north—west scotland, there is thick cloud there and spots of rain. it will improve for you through the day but for scotland and northern ireland, it will also be windy. temperatures today, up to 21 or maybe 22. that its wealth are both big football matches taking place in wembley and glasgow. in the evening, we start with pleasant early evening sunshine. clear skies tonight. however, low cloud missed and fog coming in from the north sea across east anglia and the south—east was ugly east anglia and the south—east was in east anglia and the south—east was ugly in the central southern england. the across scotland and northern ireland. again, another front comes into the north—west introducing thicker cloud and patchy light rain. a chilly night, perhaps
6:17 am
a touch of frost here and there. quite rapidly tomorrow morning, all of the cloud, missed and fog will push right the way back to the coast and another glorious day for many. the weather front progressing across northern ireland and scotland will ta ke northern ireland and scotland will take rain largely into the north and west and we could see the old spot in the east but not much more. in the sunshine temperatures up to 23 in the south—east but if you are under cloud, that little bit lower. 0n under cloud, that little bit lower. on monday, a lot of bright and fine and sunny and warm weather for much of the uk. but we could well seasoned thunderstorms developing across parts of southern england and south wales to those could be heavy and across the north—west, we have the rain coming in across parts of western scotland and also northern ireland but for the royal wedding today, here in windsor, it is looking like a cracking day, charlie. certainly is, carol, thank you. wanting you get a sense of here is the different atmospheres in
6:18 am
different places. if we show you the wide shot of the castle, it is a beautiful sunrise over windsor. we are blessed with the weather this morning, as carol was saying. but you get these areas of calm where we are, we carol is as with the crowd how different atmospheres. we can show you win the high street as well, many people have been waiting for a glimpse of that will be rewarded as well. as the royal couple emerged for their drive. windsor is a small place and on this occasion, a lot of people telling me as we went walkabout atmosphere is unlike anything they have experienced before. souvenir mr mike it isn't quite business as usual on when the high

street. —— windsor high street. welcome to windsor! the bunting is going up. the press are here in force. and the atmosphere is infectious. hello! curry and banking are making their mark on this historic town. —— curry and megan. this bakery has much the flavours of harry and megan ‘s eight. the operation has been carefully planned for months. we are having to pull out all of the stops because we are quite surprised by how busy we are and how many wedding cakes are just flying off the counter. take a walk through the busy streets of windsor and you meet all sorts of people, lots of locals here putting up with a little bit of chaos but also people from all over the world arriving here. it isn't of course an official state occasion and they we re official state occasion and they were not sure how many people would
6:20 am
show up but as you can see, tens of thousands of people are already here. if you come in specially for the occasion? yes, well, i brought over the occasion, i havejust the occasion? yes, well, i brought over the occasion, i have just along for the ride. it is my birthday gift, i for the ride. it is my birthday gift, lam for the ride. it is my birthday gift, i am a wedding planner so you have to be here if you are a wedding planner. your birthday gift was to come here? to soak in the ambience. lam nota come here? to soak in the ambience. i am not a royalist but i think the queen works hard on something like this brings people together which is a good thing. robert owns the true brewers club next of the procession route. do you think you have had enough information about how things will work was to mark that has been a little bit hard because it is new ground for the police. the police, the town centre manager, they didn't know what to expect. still not sure about the numbers, the initial estimate was 100,000 but now we could be looking at about 200 they are talking about, especially with this lovely weather we have today. the crowds are in position, the stage is set. all that is needed is
6:21 am
the happy couple. as we say, the stage is set in everything looking so beautiful this morning. i'm joined by the royal historian suzannah lipscomb. very good morning and what a day! very good morning and what a dawm is enchanting, the birdsong at sunrise... give us a sense of how this event compares to other events because it is a different feeling all sorts of ways. of course there is something very modern about this, we have a woman who has been married before, who is not british, and of course who is mixed race and so representing a sort of modern family in many ways. but i think there are elements of the wedding that reflects that so we have for example the most reverend bishop michael currie giving the address at the wedding who was the first african american bishop to preside over the stiff —— epistle perch so you have the american in atjust on welby is marrying the couple, he married kate and volume as well, but this is the
6:22 am
archbishop of canterbury who has expressed his welcome to megan and baptised into the church but then we know there are other elements through the day, we heard about the lebanon elderflower cake with this seasonal flowers —— meghan. lebanon elderflower cake with this seasonalflowers —— meghan. this is a sense of a couple who are concerned about the environment and doing things in acts of organic kind of way that they have got donations being given to them is set of presence and my favourite story about the queen ‘s's wedding was she was sent 3000 presence from the public, including nylon stockings which were rationed —— lemon and elderflower. a couple of nurses from wiltshire centre are siamese kitten. but will not be happening today because they are asking for money for charities. but i think speaks of the character of the two people getting married. you will have been invited in in a different way, haven't they? is there no position where naga is, people will be gathering, members of the public, it isa gathering, members of the public, it is a very different feel. it is and it is in the state wedding, we haven't had sort of dignitaries that
6:23 am
you would have to invite them to a state occasion but have members of the public and people who are representing charities or causes or who have gone through difficult things, all of which are dear to harry and meghan's hearts so there isa harry and meghan's hearts so there is a sense of being sort of special in that regard, it isn'tjust for show, there is something a sort of kind of sympathetic quality to it. but of course the royal family will be here in force, prince charles will be walking meghan down the aisle and again it is changing convention isn't it but it feels very much in keeping with the of event a re very much in keeping with the of event are trying to create. yes, i think, i mean, when i first heard it was not going to be her mother was disappointed but actually the fact that we have prince charles walking her down the aisle changes the symbolism of the event, it is a become about one man getting her to another man, it becomes about welcoming her into the family. so there is a sort of lovely sense that of course she is still do we do walking a bit on her own which
6:24 am
speaks to her being this strong, independent woman by prince charles accompanies her like a companion gave a last bid to marry his son and so that feels quite touching to me. lovely to see you here this morning, this beautiful day. thank you. naga, back to you, the sun is now back but i think you were still in the shade in the castle walls. do they say about who the sun shines on, charlie, don't you? no secret that prince harry's career in the military has had a profound effect on his life. during his 10 years of service, he took part in two tours of duty to afghanistan, and it was his experience there that led him to launch the invictus games for injured service personnel. the bbc‘s secunder kermani joins me from afghanistan. 0bviously people that will be taking a hollow side, keeping a close eye, on a hollow side, keeping a close eye, o n eve nts a hollow side, keeping a close eye, on events today. yes, that's right, you have jointly in card
6:25 am
on events today. yes, that's right, you havejointly in card on on events today. yes, that's right, you have jointly in card on the outskirts of kabul where as you can see, some of the decorations have already gone up. this is a nato camp at home to over 150 british officers and british soldiers as well as others from other coalition countries, including the united states and australia and germany amongst others. as you say, prince harry served two tours of afghanistan in southern helmand province so there is certainly an added bond between him and some of those who are serving here today. we are expecting a big crowd to come and watch the ceremony in here, you can see there are some special guest who are already taken a seat. they have been thinking about doing a kind of street party in the sand but the weather here has been a little unpredictable, it orations though are infull unpredictable, it orations though are in full effect, a lot of them have been sent over by soldiers‘s families, including this fruit cake which survived a ten dayjourney all the way from britain to afghanistan.
6:26 am
we will have a quick chat to captain lizzy mill water who has been in charge of the celebrations and putting the finishing touches. you have a lot of bunting, what else is in store for the troops? after an afternoon of wart, provided that the weather holds, we will do afternoon tea, watching the royal wedding and then we have got a british theme night in the cafeteria. no champagne? unfortunately not, we are a dry camp. we sure to have a drink when you get back to britain. the 650 troops in afghanistan from britain and i'm sure many will be watching today. thank you very much. we saw the cardboard facemasks bare, if you think they were enthusiastic, wait until you see pictures of this. across the atlantic, millions of americans are expected to be getting up early to watch meghan become part of the royal family. anita kitchen is hosting a viewing party in ohio. anita, explain to me what is
6:27 am
surrounding you at the moment and all of the fancy dress and all of the preparations for this party. hello. i have jennifer who the preparations for this party. hello. i havejennifer who is actually originated the facebook page and two fisted —— her sister julie, we have always been royal followers and the morning announced harry and meghan were getting married we were all on the phone to each other and by noonjenny put together the facebook page. around us, we have are we are doing for our party, we have party favours, we have a bunch of memorabilia we will have a bunch of memorabilia we will have out and we're going to be having it at the pub which is the actual british that got voted close to being like an english pub. so what got you so enamoured with the royalfamily? where what got you so enamoured with the royal family? where did what got you so enamoured with the royalfamily? where did it all start? it started back when my grandparents went to england in 1973 and they loved the country and my grandfather is a big history buff so
6:28 am
he started teaching me english history. so from that point on, i just always followed the royals. for us, it was princess diana. 0k, tell us us, it was princess diana. 0k, tell us what happened then, one of you think went the wedding? 0r witnessed the wedding? we will remember watching it. me and my sister, when we we re watching it. me and my sister, when we were children. and then falling in love and who doesn't want to be a princess? and now that meghan markle is the american princess, i think thatis is the american princess, i think that is why the us is losing their mind. we are expecting over 200 people at our viewing party. it is huge here in america. the excitement is overwhelming. i think we can get a good sense ofjust how excited you allare, as we a good sense ofjust how excited you all are, as we are of course in

royal wedding day, howdy you see that? i think the royalfamily in general on occasions like this especially a moment of great symbolism in britain and you cannot deny there is a long and structural problem with racism in britain and no one day or one woman can change that but as far as the symbolism of britishness goes and what the royal family mean to people's idea of british royalty, this represents a symbolic change, she is not only of mixed heritage but she has owned it and spoken proudly offered and not shied away from some of the difficulties she has had around prejudice and racism and i think you have someone with such a visible and prominent position who is confident and proud of speaking of her experience of the message to others in britain that you can be a person of colour, black, mixed races a number of people are, we have the highest number of mixed race people in the western world by 2013 in britain, and you can also be proud of those experiences and into a previously very white space of an

actually, as they go dami im, and where harry was baptised and so she also has been baptised into the church of england so there is playing into the tradition as well, this is a combination of maternity tradition that characterises today. ido tradition that characterises today. i do what you see when you talk to people but chatting to a lot of people but chatting to a lot of people here yesterday they are not necessarily of all the people you may expect who are interested in this occasion. it is hard to guess why people are interested but it seems to me people are drawn to this story possibly in a different way than they have been the other royal occasions. there are a few things, many people feel compelled by prince harry and loved by you, if you speak to people, my mother is from ghana and a lot of people from west africa feel close to diana and relate to her as feel close to diana and relate to heras an feel close to diana and relate to her as an outsider, someone who was the black sheep of the family, they feel a sense of common experience and then harry as well as somebody who has worn his flaws and humanity openly in the past which makes him a lova ble openly in the past which makes him a lovable character but i think a
7:16 am
great three has attracted a whole group of people who previously felt alien to buy the royal family and speaking of myself i have never been particularly interested in a royal wedding before and it is anecdotal but many people i know feel the same, they'd have nothing against the royal family but it did not speak to them, and this is notjust her heritage, she is a woman who has built herself, who with cognitive, passionate and articulate about causes she has been an activist for and she brings something into the space that i think makes it more releva nt. space that i think makes it more relevant. the question for me is kenji continued to be that person and keeper authenticity and passion and keeper authenticity and passion and independence and show that the monarchy is capable of updating itself to bring in my more modern values. that is a big question, isn't it? they do feel like diana's heirs, can she keep speaking up for things she believes in? the royal foundation with her and the other three will be involved in pushing forward the military and causes but
7:17 am
can she keep speaking out? i don't know, traditionally of course people have to be politically neutral once theyjoin the royal family, you have to shut down your voice and let's hope her voice is in silenced. to shut down your voice and let's hope her voice is in silencedm to shut down your voice and let's hope her voice is in silenced. it is probably a discussion for another day, great to see you both in the bright sunshine. so everyone here is enjoying the weather and carol is out with some of the crowds as well. good morning. cheering and applause. good morning. cheering and applause. good morning, charlie. we are at the long walk in windsor. cheering and applause. that will see the royal couple later on coming along the long walk but we have a super fan, christine, welcome. good morning. you have come all of the way from america just for the royal wedding. yes. and you also write a blog about the royals? it is called royally broke, it is about budget fashion and lifestyle and four women who wa nt to and lifestyle and four women who want to dress like kate and meghan but cannot afford thousands of dollars on an outfit. it had done a
7:18 am
bit of that yourself if we could have a look if you don't mind.” bit of that yourself if we could have a look if you don't mind. i am wearing a replica of kate's engagement dress that i got on modcloth for about $50 and my harry and meghan scarves of course. and your earrings? they are a replica of kate's wedding earrings and i got these at the tower of london and they are obviously not diamonds but yes, you can dress like kate or meghan affordably if you look in the right places. in online there are lots of sites that sell copies of things or evenjust lots of sites that sell copies of things or even just googling, this isa things or even just googling, this is a blue wrap dress, you don't have to have the same thing as them and you can get the same look. you look fantastic. what is it do you think is so special to the americans? is it just that meghan is so special to the americans? is itjust that meghan is american and marrying one of our princes or is it you love the royals anyway? you there more excited than we are. a lot of people are saying that. i think because meghan is american
7:19 am
people are excited but also people love prince harry, americans have a lwa ys love prince harry, americans have always loved princess diana vickers he is her son i think people are excited. thank you so much for talking to us. take care. this morning it is lovely here in windsor, chilli to start the day the sun is out and literature will rise quickly and the forecast for the royal wedding is set fair, we are looking at a lot of sunshine, temperatures 21 celsius, it will be the maximum at noon, it will probably be around about 17. if you are going to a street party or coming to windsor, where ever you are across the uk, for all that it will be a fine and dry day, at the exception is northwest scotland with a bit more cloud about and also some patchy rain but it will break up through the day and improve. wendy across northern ireland and scotland. temperature wise, if you are in the cloud it will be lower but if you are in the sunshine warmer, but the top ten is 21 or 22.
7:20 am
—— top temperature. if you are going to glasgow or wembley, a good day. this evening and overnight there will be clear skies around but we will be clear skies around but we will watch some low cloud and missed and fog drifting in from the north sea across east anglia, the south—east, as far west as central southern england full doc the front rejuvenates across north—west scotla nd rejuvenates across north—west scotland meanwhile, introducing cloud and again some rain and windy in scotland and northern ireland. but thejob will in scotland and northern ireland. but the job will be low enough year and therefore a touch of frost. tomorrow we start off with all of the low cloud, missed and fog across east anglia, the south—east, central southern england, it will burn back to the north sea coastline and again a fine day for england and wales. a lot of sunshine. scotland and northern ireland, the weatherfront is moving across both scotland and northern ireland so more cloud and also some rain. the heaviest will be in the west. winds easing through the day. as we had all through

7:22 am
it isn't quite business as usual on windsor high street. 0yez, oyez, oyez! welcome to windsor! the bunting is going up, the press are here in force and the atmosphere is infectious. hi! harry and meghan are making their mark on this historic town. this local bakery has created lemon and elderflower cakes to match the flavours of harry and megan's. their operation has been carefully planned for months. we're really having to pull out all of the stops because we are quite surprised by how busy we are and our mini wedding cakes are just literally flying off our counter. take a walk through the busy streets of windsor and you meet all sorts of people.
7:23 am
lots of locals here putting up with a little bit of chaos, but there's also people from all over the world arriving here. it isn't, of course, an official state occasion and they were not sure how many people would show up but as you can see, tens of thousands of people are already here. so you came in specially for the occasion? yes! well, i brought herforthe — i'm just along for the ride. i don't mind but i'm just along for the ride. it's my birthday gift and i'm a wedding planner so you have to be here if you're a wedding planner. so the birthday gift was to come to the royal wedding? to come here in the ambience. i'm not too big a royalist but i think the queen works hard and, you know, something like this brings people together. that's a good thing. robert gillespie owns the two brewers pub which is next to the procession route. do you think you have had enough information about how things are gonna work? that's been a little bit hard because it's all new ground for the police. the police, the town centre manager, they really didn't know what to expect.
7:24 am
they're still not sure about the numbers. i think the initial estimate was 100,000. now we could be looking up to about 200 they are talking about, and especially with this lovely weather we got today. the crowds are in position, the stage is set. all that's needed is the happy couple. i'm joined by the mayor of windsor and maidenhead, john lenton. good morning to you. morning. what a glorious day. wonderful, isn't it? he had an atmosphere like this in the past? never seem quite similar, it is particularly enthusiastic. in what way is a different? the scale of numbers with of people we have. we can be sure how many people would turn up but in the event... we still don't know. we won't know until later in the day. but there are literally chords of people floating in. 100 or 2000 -- 200,000 will be
7:25 am
coming, we don't know, there is no server estimate. we will show some of the pictures of harry and william of the pictures of harry and william of course these brave people stayed out overnight last night but this was about six o'clock yesterday evening and they were rewarded when harry and william came out. i saw the film of that. it was a special moment talking to some of the youngsters there that has been the hallmark really, it is harry's special thing, he is good at chatting. very good indeed at public relations. hope you enjoy your day, iam not relations. hope you enjoy your day, i am not sure what official roles you have to play but have a great day. we have no real official role, we will stand and watch the procession. they differ chatting to us. we will go from the relative calm to wherejohn is, slightly different atmosphere, john. yes, the energy is building, charlie, it really is. we are seeing all of the

are going to escorted up the aisle. i don't know about you, but i have been around some three —year—olds that are quite the challenge to in control. my advice, iwouldn't that are quite the challenge to in control. my advice, i wouldn't be. you know what? i am sure they will be perfectly behaved. you never know what will happen on the day. it is good to talk to you. meghan markle has spent a night —— the night with her mother there. they had separate nights before the wedding, prince harry and meghan markle. what about the photographs? the treasures of the photographs? the treasures of the day. british—born photographer alexi lubomirski will be taking the official wedding photographs for prince harry and meghan markle. he was the man behind their official engagement photos, and says he is excited to document the changing face of the royal family. i am so looking forward to the group photo. because i think that is really such a historical document and i think thatjust gives me goose bumps, the whole thing about how
7:31 am
the royal family has evolved and how it has moved on and how it is moving with times. i think it is hugely important and new life into the family and, yeah, it is wonderful. it's a day of big events, notjust here in windsor, but also at wembley and hampden park, where the fa cup and scottish cup finals are taking place. the sun is glorious. that is the chapel they will get married a little earlier today at 12 o'clock. meghan markle will enter in the west entrance, beautifully adorned with flowers. there is something else happening and it means prince william had to make a choice. there we re william had to make a choice. there were two big matches at wembley in hampton cup, the fa cup and the scottish for cup finals are taking place. you have been with the fa cup and prince william is not going to be there. he decided the best man at my brother's wedding, adding that wins this year. yes, good morning. ithink he
7:32 am
yes, good morning. i think he got his priorities right. i wonder if they will have the match on in the reception at the marquee this evening, kick—off live on the bbc at 515. i am sure prince william will keep an eye on events here. i have come up into the royal box, about 15 miles north—east of you there in windsor at this fantastic view over wembley. this is where the players will walk up after the match, the winners second up to the losers to collect the famous trophy. it was prince william will not be here, it will be jackie wilson is, the wife of late ray wilkins who passed away suddenly early last month, who played for both teams. there will be lots of tributes today to that great legend himself. he scored the winner for united here against brighton in the cup final back in the 805. banners will be unfurl that both end5 before kick—off. before jacqui
7:33 am
then presents the trophy to the winner5. we will get the thoughts of the bbc commentator steve wilson on the bbc commentator steve wilson on the big mac in a few moments. it is also the scottish cup final. it is celtic against motherwell. celtic are going for an unprecedented double treble, hoping to win all three scottish trophies for the second year in a row. motherwell have a fantastic song in the charts. they did lose to celtic earlier this season. a chance for revenge, but they will be the underdogs this afternoon. a huge weekend in rugby. it is a magic weekend. all the teams play over two days. in union, it is the english premiership semi—final, so for big teams trying to make that big final next weekend as well. the scarlet

ran infourtries, next weekend as well. the scarlet ran in four tries, including this from gareth davie5. they will play either monster or european chance —— champions lein5ter. tho5e either monster or european chance —— champions lein5ter. those two teams play this afternoon. in italy, there i5a play this afternoon. in italy, there is a lot of climbing ahead for the cyclists. a real contrast to yesterday's flat stage 13. simon yate5 has led the race for over a week now. here at wembley, the cup final. what a moment it is for steve wil5on. you will be the ninth commentator to do the big one. the live fa cup final. it is something you must have dreamt about in the workable way.” used to run around in my back garden playing in the cup final and i used to commentator the same time. it is a dream, a real honour. to think that only eight people have done this that only eight people have done thi5job that only eight people have done this job previously over all the decades. it is quite extraordinary. i have never been this close to that
7:35 am
in before. it is a little bit intimidating being so close to it. it is so beautiful. it is such a big occasion, you go over it in the middle of the night.” occasion, you go over it in the middle of the night. i think people understand that you do an awful of statistics, but the hope for a commentator i5 statistics, but the hope for a commentator is always actually 99% of them will never be used because if you don't need the statistics, it i5a if you don't need the statistics, it is a good game. lets hope for a good game and all those statistics about what happened last time on tuesday night in the middle of their breed can be left alone. if there is a incident, a goal after 15 seconds, you need to know if it is the quickest goal in the cup final and so on. all the stats are there. hope it will be a game. how much experience counts, especially when he lost last year? he has a vast
7:36 am
experience of multiple cup finals, european cup finals, ju5t experience of multiple cup finals, european cup finals, just one fa cup win in 2007 on the 19th of may, funnily enough. the same day. much le55 funnily enough. the same day. much less experience in cup finals but a serial winner in league titles, co nte. serial winner in league titles, conte. it is a battle of personalities. some of the needle between them aside in recent weeks and months, so the relationship is a little better than it has been in the past, but there are all kind of 5ub plots in this game and that is one of them. it could be conte's last game. it could be. is keeping quiet about it. if it is his last game and he did win the fa cup today, if he could walk away after two 5eason having won the premier league in his first and fa cup and his second, you couldn't call conte at failure at chelsea. what is harder, or more nerve racking, commentating on the final order in
7:37 am
the best man 5peech commentating on the final order in the best man speech at a wedding? the best man 5peech the best man speech at a wedding? the best man speech at a wedding would be... at the royal wedding, can you imagine? wembley have done their little bit for the happy couple, they had a message displayed overnight. all lit up outside the stadium. they wish the couple good luck ahead of their big day will stop fantastic. i think it is still up stop fantastic. i think it is still up there now will the fans as they arrive at wembley. we are getting into the spirit, charlie, a5 arrive at wembley. we are getting into the spirit, charlie, as well. thank you very much. we are blessed, as you are there, with this stunning day today. you can probably get a sense of some of the pictures we have shown you already. i cannot say often enough, it is absolutely magical here this morning. the crowds have been here overnight, some of them have slept overnight will stop they were very cold last night. this morning, they will enjoy the warm sunshine ahead of the day. we can show you the chapel as well. we can show you the chapel as well.
7:38 am
we have of the crowds who are very exuberant and some of the people, the first arrivals, some of the guests coming in. we will take a moment to talk about the causes that vote of the royal couple '5 —— that the royal couple have been involved in over the years. we know prince harry involving invicta skeins, mental health as well. meghan particular to do with education as well. —— invictus. let's have a look at some of the work they have done in their own words. the cause is important to me, i can focus more energy on because very early out of the gate we realise once you have access the gate we realise once you have a ccess or the gate we realise once you have access or a voice the gate we realise once you have access or a voice that people are going to listen to you, that comes a lot of responsibility. both of us have passions for wanting to make a change, change for good. that is one of the first things we started talking about when we met was a different things we wanted to do in the world.
7:39 am
heads together is an amazing convening power, but also the perception of mental health now across this country and also other countries has changed without a doubt. you will often hear people say, we will help people find their voices, andi will help people find their voices, and i disagree with that because women don't need to find a voice. they have a voice. they need to feel empowered to use it and people need to be in courage to listen. we are really looking forward to working as a pair of ant as for going forward and hoping to make a difference where we can. there is a hell of a lot of work to do. let's talk about this. welcome this morning. you have worked with naked in the past. and also dominic from invicta skeins foundation. —— three games. you are ourfirst
7:40 am
invicta skeins foundation. —— three games. you are our first guest we have spoken to this morning. are you excited? yes, have spoken to this morning. are you excited ? yes, really looking have spoken to this morning. are you excited? yes, really looking forward to it. tell us about prince harry. you have done a lot of work with him over the years and invictus games is of course very close to his heart. he is his own personal project, it is his idea. we delivered it but it was his conception, he decided it needed to happen. it stemmed from an experience he had coming back from afghanistan. he didn't want to come back from afghanistan, he wanted to stay with his troops. he shared the flight with stay with his troops. he shared the flight with a cough and of a danish shoulder and he realised he had to do something about that —— with the cough. —— coffin. he is great to work with. his experience in the military, a lot of people say it has formed the person he is now. he is a
7:41 am
soldier. you can tell that by the way he interacts with them. his main drive is that the boys and girls are the ones that the core of the attention. the way he interacts with their man feels comfortable, it is fantastic to see. tell us about what you know about meghan. we are learning more about her. telus about your feelings about her and how she operates in those circumstances? when you young world is where we bring leaders together from 196 leaders with leading leaders like meghan markle. she is so passionate about equality and about his leadership and it really came across a one young world. i have met harry once or twice, they are people who light upa once or twice, they are people who light up a room and that is one of those, unless you've experienced it it is hard to understand, as meghan have the same effect? in 2014 she was starting her philanthropic
7:42 am
endeavours, having come back from a uso tour, and something she has in common with harry is an passion for our service men and women and she is radiant, professionalism, she cares and is educated and knowledgeable about them but her presence is warm andi about them but her presence is warm and i think she will be a wonderful addition to the royal family. harry also has that ability, both in your campaign but also in the way he deals with people. as i said, he feels comfortable in service men and women's company but he is brilliant with people, he has that mac and meghan markle does too. i think together they shared out and it will bea together they shared out and it will be a powerful, they will be a powerful couple. come one o'clock when they come out of the chapel the world will be a different place. when they come out of the chapel the world will be a different placem is interesting. do you think they will find if you like new courses to look at? have their own think that they will carry on pursuing but do you think that will start to look at new areas where they can work together? i've has to develop for
7:43 am
them, you look at what is already happening, with harry has the new role with the commonwealth, there is more to be done, i don't know what shape the future will be that i'm convinced that coming together, the marriage itself will be a multiplier for both of them and are both incredibly influential and powerful and attractive and wonderful people and attractive and wonderful people and that will be multiplied and who knows, it will go in all sorts of directions but it will be a force for good. a wonderful thing for organisations like yours that rely on people, the profile of individuals coming in and helping. it is fantastic she is so passionate about young people in the commonwealth and prince harry has taken on the role of the queen '5 commonwealth trust is why the young leaders around the commonwealth, and we massively support his work, it is fantastic. i have to ask about how your day will pan out. as a guest. do you know what you have to do, where you have to be? yes, i do, we have got to be seated by 11 o'clock and the service starts at 12 so we have seen that now that the order of
7:44 am
service have been published, a great programme and great music and beautifully written, we do that and then we go into the castle for a reception and it goes on till 330 and then we are in our own time but what a privilege. absolutely, i know quite a few other members of the military are involved in various capacities throughout the day. there are lots of, there is a military component of the procession and it isa component of the procession and it is a personal link because you have the blues and royals, the regiment, these people are people that prince harry served with, they are not random soldiers, it is a personal connection as well as a ceremony. roughly seeing you both, enjoy your day and thank you so much. thank you. we will leave you with one other, the rather beautiful shop from windsor and the calm of the chapel, we were saying, we know guests will be arriving slowly in the next 1.5 hours or so falls. we can contrast some of the images from the inside with the excitement,
7:45 am
carol, it would be fair to say, where you are. cheering and applause. absolutely charlie, i'm on the long walk and the card has been building all morning. cheering and applause. good morning, everybody! cheering and applause. i think it is safe to say that... america! we are from houston and new orleans! you have to especially for the royal wedding or were you on holiday? just for the wedding! when they got engaged last year we said we were going to come to the wedding and we are here! fabulous! enjoyed the day! look at the glamour. look at these tiaras! ladies, what kind of dress do you think meghan will wear today? off the shoulder and stunning, hamrat, i think, off the shoulder and stunning, hamrat, ithink, beautiful. a bit like yourself. exactly. straight out of the vault this morning. enough
7:46 am
said about that. a fabulous day. you looking forward to seeing the couple? will you stay here all day as this is part of the route. yeah. enjoy it. i'm taking a safe bet you have come from america? we have, indiana. when did you get here? tuesday. when you get a right here? fourin tuesday. when you get a right here? four in the morning. it was cold. it was worth it. to 30. was there anybody else there ? was worth it. to 30. was there anybody else there? one other couple and that was it. the crowds have grown. have a fabulous time. cheering and applause. they will come down here and make away into the castle but of course the newlyweds on board. the forecast this morning is chilly to start, but the royal wedding forecast is dry and also a sunny day, hires up to 21
7:47 am

windy across scotland and northern ireland over the ridge and eight, more cloud into the north—western began some rain. tomorrow, the cloud and be missed and fog we have crossed a thing we and the south—east and central southern england will burn the way back to the coast, a lot of dry weather and sometime around for england and for wales but for scotland and northern ireland more cloud free up with some splashes of rain from the same weather front. temperatures under the cloud that little bit lower at in the sunshine, 22 or 23. monday, a lot of dry weather once again. as temperatures continue to rise we will see some showers develop into southern parts of england, south wales, some of them heavy and thundery but the showers, some of us will miss them, 24 in the south—east whereas out towards the west, and a frame is arriving, getting into western scotland and also northern ireland later on. if you are stuck under the ireland later on. if you are stuck underthe rain, ireland later on. if you are stuck under the rain, temperatures that little bit lower. naga, it is

windsor, ahead of the wedding four hours away until meghan markle marries prince harry. the bridegroom was greeted with shouts of "good luck" from well—wishers gathering at windsor castle. he says he's feeling pretty relaxed. while meghan markle said she's feeling "wonderful" ahead of her big day as she arrived at her hotel with her mother. the couple has released details of the service — and stand by me will ring out alongside more traditional hyms. you can probably see all the early arrivals making their way into the grounds of the castle, the public who have been invited in. we'll have all the latest in the final countdown to the wedding. good morning, it's saturday 19th may.

millions of people are expected to watch prince harry wed megan markle in a few hours time. 0ut out on the street it's been a cold night for people who have camped out but things are really hotting up now! cheering and here on the long walk we've got a huge crowd. some of them have been here since yesterday evening, and the weather is beautiful. it was a cold start, the sun is rising, the temperature is rising. cloud across the north—west. more details in 15 minutes. do you ever get the feeling people area bit do you ever get the feeling people are a bit excited?! good morning.

the crowds gathering as they are waiting for the procession. prince harry and meghan markle will marry at 12 o'clock today at st george's chapel, behind me. thousands of people have lined the streets in windsor and the ceremony is expected to be watched by millions more around the world. there is capacity for about 120,000 people here. let's tell you about what will be happening in the church. meghan will be walked to the alter by her future father—in—law, the prince of wales. last night, prince harry and his brother the duke of cambridge, who will be his best man met the crowds in windsor. they chatted to a few of the people, some of the younger people in the crowd as well. if there were any nerves, they weren't in evidence

and the bridegroom said he was "relaxed" ahead of the big day. the bride, meanwhile, said she was feeling "wonderful" when she arrived with her mother at the cliveden house hotel, where they have spent the night. prince harry and meghan markle sleeping separately as tradition dictates. earlier they had tea with the queen. the absence of meghan's father means doria ragland will be the only member of her family at the service. let's show you this glorious view. the sun is shining over windsor. it's glistening off the rooftops. there you go, i wasjust it's glistening off the rooftops. there you go, i was just looking at my monitor! we are now enjoying the sunshine beating down. that is st george's chapel, that's where they are getting married. the flowers are around the door, that's where the guests will go in this morning. some amazing flowers inside. sarah
8:00 am
campbell our royal correspondent has been having a look around. let's talk about the preparations. so, the couple seem ready to go, what about the other preparations? 0ur royal correspondent nicholas witchell has been finding out how the rest of the day will unfold. you can see people making their way to the ground is now. a heavy police presence, safety of paramount importance. let's take a look at how the rest of the day will unfold. windsor castle, a home to british kings and queens for centuries, and today, a setting for the wedding of a british prince and an american actress. the order of service has been published for the marriage of his royal highness prince henry of wales with ms meghan markle. inside, there's still a reference to the bride's absent father. his place has been taken by the prince of wales. the marriage service itself will be conducted at the chapel‘s high altar by the archbishop of canterbury.
8:01 am
they've taken it enormously seriously. they've both gone into the detail. but also, really engaged in the words, the meaning, the commitment they're making to each other, and it's been very, very powerful to experience talking that through with them. the service will last about an hour, and then they will emerge from the chapel as man and wife and make their way down these steps to a horse—drawn carriage, which will take them on a procession through the centre of windsor and back to the castle. that procession was rehearsed by the household cavalry earlier this week. today, the cavalry, the lifeguards, and harry's old regiment will be in their full ceremonial uniforms, and one of the cavalrymen escorted the carriage is a soldier who fought alongside harry in afghanistan. everyone is really happy that he's
8:02 am
actually found a nice lady, he's going to get married, and it will be no different to any of us getting married. it is a real brotherhood. when one of us does well, we are all happy. and those good wishes from his former army colleagues will be given expression to by the crowds. many had camped out overnight, tens of thousands more are expected in windsor today to see harry and meghan as they launch their married life together. nicholas witchel, bbc news, windsor. i'm joined by our royal correspondent sarah campbell. i'm feeling the buzz, the music is playing. we are listening to the music as they are rehearsing. more people are gathering in the grounds. the flags are up on this side of the building. we have to remember that
8:03 am
windsor castle is a living and working place. not just for windsor castle is a living and working place. notjust for the queen. there are a huge population who live here. all those flags are vetera n who live here. all those flags are veteran armed forces personnel. those flags were their former regiment. a lot of armed forces vetera ns regiment. a lot of armed forces veterans live in those apartments. we've noticed the royal standard as well. we are showing our viewers above the grounds of windsor castle. the super—size royal standard because this is a big royal occasion. there are flags according to the importance of events and that is one of the big ones. is sun is beating down, it's is one of the big ones. is sun is beating down, its glorious. is one of the big ones. is sun is beating down, it's glorious. we are seeing the first of the 1200 members of the public that were nominated, people who have done good things in their communities that deserve recognition. i think those are the first ones we are seeing coming in. they will get a great view when harry and william, before they enter
8:04 am
the chapel, the plan is that they will wander down pass these people before they go in and stand by the alter. just to point out, that entrances where the guests will go in. south door, guests go in. they go through this side, and that's the big entrance. the west door which we can't see from here but is festooned with flowers. it looks incredible. that is where meghan markle will be dropped off. that's where we will see the first glimpse of the dress and we'll see what i understand is going to be a classic moment of those page boys and bridesmaids getting together. there's no maids of honour because meghan markle said she didn't want to have to choose between her best friends, so there's just ten children all seven or under! good luck with that! we've been looking inside the chapel. we saw pictures of the flowers, they look marvellous. the florist
8:05 am
phillipa craddock, all of the foliage gathered from windsor park. you're going to talk us through the timing is. the main thing for people to watch out for is that the service sta rts to watch out for is that the service starts at midday. members of the public arising from about now. they are going to walk through and arrive at st george's chapel. that's what about 11:45am. the queen is due to arrive at 11:55am. at one minute to midday will get the shot of meghan markle and her dress. so much speculation about who the designer is going to be. from 12pm everything shown on bbc one. and the weather is good as well. button doesn't always have perfect weather but the last three days have been fabulous. part of this is the royal family showing
8:06 am
off britain to the world. windsor castle has never looked better. off britain to the world. windsor castle has never looked battenm looks glorious. british—born photographer alexi lubomirski will be taking the official wedding photographs of prince harry and meghan markle. he was the man behind their engagement photos, and has told us to expect a different kind of image to what we are used to from the royal family. i have been looking at everything from queen elizabeth's wedding pictures all the way through to william and kate, and again, we are trying to do, like with the royal engagement pictures, trying to do something a bit different. we wanted to make it a bit more authentic, a bit more about them, a bit more real, and i think that came across in those ones. you won't miss a minute of the big day if you stick with us here on bbc one. a special programme the royal wedding: prince harry and meghan markle starts straight after breakfast. huw edwards, kirsty young and dermot 0'leary will be presenting the live coverage.
8:07 am
charlie is just the other side of the chapel from here. i promise you he's down there! what's it like there because here i'm feeling the buzz. people are arriving, rehearsals have been taking place, it just feels very excitable. rehearsals have been taking place, itjust feels very excitable. you can't emphasise how beautiful it is here. it's gradually warmed up, crowds have gathered and you are seeing from those shots of the helicopter over windsor what a remarkable stage is set for today's events. the crowds will be down there with carol later on, gathering. a mixture of emotions because within the grounds it is much quieter. where i am, you probably some of them arriving. they've been trooping up in the pathway behind me. these are the
8:08 am
members of the public who have been invited to be part of the occasion. meghan markle and prince harry break with royal tradition in so many ways. so will her background and life—experience offer a new perspective to one of the world's most famous families? i am reallyjust proud of who i am. for me, it is an added member of the family, another team player as part of the bigger team. she looks like me, it is really inspiring and you don't have to be white to be in the royal family or, you know... i think it can be really inspiring for a lot of young girls out there. this picture is my mum and dad getting married in 1979. the british nazi party had a march past their wedding and they had to have a police escort to get them to the wedding reception. the royal wedding, to me, similar to how far we have come.
8:09 am
——the royal wedding, to me, symbolises how far we have come. 38 years ago, racism was still rife in this country, and now we have a person of colour going into the royal family. she chooses me and i choose her, and therefore, whatever we have to tackle together or individually, we'll always be us together as a team. let's talk about some of the issues this morning. the royal historian suzannah lipscombjoins me alongside the author and broadcaster afua hirsch. we arejust we are just getting confirmation of the title and its the duke and duchess of sussex we are told. talk us through the mechanics of this and the title. they needed to be given a title because otherwise meghan wouldn't have had a title of any
8:10 am
sort of on status, she would have been princess henry of wales. sussex has been chosen because it's not back controversial. the last duke of sussex was prince augustus frederick who was the ninth child of george iii. he died in 1843, he didn't have any legitimate heirs and he lived at kensington palace. he didn't do anything wrong so in other words he hasn't besmirched the title. it's one of the remaining ones that could have been given to a royal couple. from now on they will be known as the duke and duchess of sussex. it's interesting. this is the bit where we are talking about the establishment and what we know from previous occasions if you have the titles, the occasion, the guests arriving. what's different about this? this is a fascinating blend of tradition and modern tea. i think meghan markle is unlike previous high—profile senior royal wives. it's partly her heritage, the factor
8:11 am
mother is african—american. she is manifested that heritage in the ceremony by showcase. aide who she is giving a platform to other black talent, which only maybe someone of her particular heritage might do but at the same time, for me, it is the fact that she is a self—made me, it is the fact that she is a self— made woman. she's me, it is the fact that she is a self—made woman. she's proud of her career, her advocacy and interests. i hope that the royal family is able to modernise enough to allow her to thrive in this role and not follow that instinct that we have seen in the past to shut down. it is an opportunity for them to become more relevant. anecdotally, i have noticed, within circles that i know, and people at windsor, a totally new
8:12 am
itunes for a royal wedding. there are hundreds of african americans on the street, some of them extremely emotional about the fact that they feel included in an institution which was a dillian to them before. black british people have said similar things, even if they are not monarchies, they cannot help be interested in this wedding, and they feel compelled by meghan markle. that is quite a responsibility. this isa that is quite a responsibility. this is a young couple getting married, albeit in these extraordinary surroundings. that is quite a responsibility to bring with you into this occasion? yes, and they have fallen in love. they have chosen each other and not for public relations purposes. at the same time, ithink relations purposes. at the same time, i think they can bear that responsibility. they are people who are articulate, who appear to be kidding. 0ne are articulate, who appear to be kidding. one thing they have in common with diana, you see meghan hiding members of the public. a nightmare for the security services but it conveys the sense of their worms. if anyone can be that responsibility it will be them. there is something about the fact that she is a little bit older, she
8:13 am
has more experience. she comes with a kind of wisdom and authority, as well as this ability to be able to connect with the crowds. we are able to speak of a new type of royal family and that is important. we still have the planes, they have not closed doors down for the day. in amongst the other different things that meghan brings, she has had a career, she has been an actress, she has had a profile and had to deal with the press. a number of things feel different. yes, this is a happy day. there is lots of good energy but i worry for her because there is no celebrity precedent that could prepare someone for this. you get the sense that these royal occasions are unlike anything else, the skill of press attention, the entire world is your, billions of people
8:14 am
will be watching. it is a level of pressure unlike any other. i hope they can bid. they seem to be people who know how to reach out to people, they have incredible social skills, they have incredible social skills, they are articulate, and also, use they are articulate, and also, use the media strategically to their own advantage. i am sure they will try to do that. it is not an easy task. the amount of scrutiny on her, because her family is not from an aristocratic background, like many families, it is a bit of a broken family, which many people relate to. i wish her well. it will be challenging but i hope they will rise to the challenge. one thing is certain, they have the most remarkable day. lovely to see you both this morning. we can give you a little look around some of the brit 0val surroundings at windsor. we have been here since half past four this morning. —— beautiful surroundings. this is the scene inside. we can see some of the members of the public were invited in. the street you can see will be
8:15 am
the area where the carriage emerges. the people in those positions were the ones sleeping out overnight. it was cold. they were in their sleeping bags, but they are in the best spot as the royal couple emerge for that wonderful route around to meet as many people as they possibly can as part of the celebrations. daniela relph can pick up on some of those thoughts, a little more about what we're hearing about the event and people arriving. we are alongside the chapel within the precinct of windsor castle. buying me you can see the police. this is the area for the people who have become known as the golden ticket people, the people nominated by the large tenants of their particular counties for a good work they have done, charity projects they have done, charity projects they are involved in, and got a ringside seat outside the chapel to watch the comings and goings ahead of the wedding of prince harry and meghan markle. we will speak to a
8:16 am
few of them. congratulations. jack, you got the ticket. can you tell us why you were honoured with that ticket today? i do quite a bit of charity work, mainly with volunteer police cadets, which is a national programme. really, ithink police cadets, which is a national programme. really, i think the main nomination was because i put the majority of my weekends into working for events, charities, things we support with charity work. and you have brought your mum. was it hard to decide who was going to get your other ticket today? it was going to be my nan, but she is in wales. what did you think when you walked in here? you're going to have a prime spot for seeing all the guests arriving today? i was quite surprised just how it near we are going to be and how involved. how much of a special day does it feel for you? know we're here, it feels
8:17 am
really special. i was coming with jack to support him but i did not realise how big it was until we arrived. i am looking forward to it. a great day. we are moving a little way up. which one of you got the ticket? becky. why did you get the honour of coming here today? we have been involved in the swindon night shelter, a homeless ministry in swindon for ten years. we were chosen by the lord lieutenant of welch for this great honour which is a great privilege. we are representing our guests and the rest of the ministry. how much of a surprise was it when you got the letter? massive. we had not thought about the possibility we could be here today and it is great to get that recognition for the night shelter, the forgotten people on the streets. we are really grateful to the couple of that —— for thinking office. can i see these little
8:18 am
things? you're going to get a goody bag. what is inside? shortbread biscuit, water, a lovely fridge magnet, and most exciting, a voucher for the gift shop. my husband had better watch out. have a wonderful day. you're in such a great position. it is a real privilege for eve ryo ne position. it is a real privilege for everyone here. they will see the guests arriving and hopefully prince william and prince harry going into the chapel later. it is a prime spot in the precincts of windsor castle. i will throw you back. naga munchetty is close to the chapel behind me. hello. this is the chapel behind us. this is where it will be taking place later today. we are seeing people gathering. daniel alves was talking to people who have gathered already. —— daniela relph. people have prime viewing positions with
8:19 am
their own chairs. prince harry and prince william will work down here before the wedding and make their way into the chapel. the south tower is decorated. the west entrance is stunning. we have heard this morning that the queen has announced the titles which will be bestowed a mock —— on the married couple. prince harry, prince henry of wales, has been made duke of sussex. they earl of dumbarton, and barrington will kill. he will be his royal highness the duke of sussex. 0n marriage, meghan markle will become her royal highness the duchess of sussex. the titles have been confirmed today by buckingham palace. everyone is getting ready. the sun is shining. i know people say it does not matter what the weather does on your wedding day but it does make it that little bit more joyful. wedding day but it does make it that little bit morejoyful. carroll, it really makes a difference. it is

the bride—to—be spent last night at the cliveden house hotel, which is around ten miles from here. tradition suggests the bride and groom spend the evening before their wedding apart. we saw pictures of meghan markle arriving with her mother yesterday evening, the only member of her family to attend. 0ur reporter chi chi izundu is there. tell me you've had a glimpse of the bridal party as they were getting ready. 0n bridal party as they were getting ready. on my wedding day i was up at the crack of dawn full of excitement. good morning. sadly we
