broadway theatre's reputation is dying a death. the management company has hit severe financial difficulties, affecting staff, contractors, the local council and people like barry and gwen who paid £60 cash for a show that has now been cancelled. they tried to get their money back, to no avail. initially i was upset and shocked that we weren't going to see the show. then i was probably angry they had taken my money without replying to make. if someone had replied and said we have a real problem, we are trying to sort it out, you can ask for give it but i'm being completely ignored. the only leases the site to a trust who in turn leased it to performance art ventures. theirjob was to put new life into the venue. today, no sign of any life. there's nothing going on in the theatre today, the post is still on the

doormat and there is a note talking about the termination of the lease of performance art ventures. they say they have worked tirelessly but have faced too many difficult challenges. they say one might describe pav as a heroic failure. but it's left nick fox out of pocket by £15,000. he was taken on as a technical consultant last year to support the theatre's reopening. initially no problems to get paid but problems started rising to the point you would send invoices and reminders and come in ten days later to find they were still sitting in the in tray unopened. comedienne ruby wax performed to 700 punters at the broadway in april. this man's company arranged the booking, and his £10,000 invoice has still not been paid. this happens very rarely,

i would say it's only the second incident of this happening in the last ten years though that's why we are so last ten years though that's why we are so distressed because our dealings with literally hundreds of theatres across the uk and in other countries are very much in order to standard terms and everybody conducts themselves impeccably. in this case it's been far from that. daughter charitable trust says it had no involvement or liability for the debts or contracts and says it is committed to keep the theatre open until 2020, but says ultimately ticket sales are the only way to secure its long—term future. now it's time to look at the weather. 0n shane has been in short supply for many, with a lot of cloud around but one thing that hasn't been in short supply is the warmth with temperatures in mid—20s celsius.

these are cloudy skies over preston in lancashire. tomorrow i'm hopeful we will see more in the way of sunshine. this is the satellite picture from earlier on, you can see extensive cloud. here as we go through this evening into the night, we will keep clear starry skies allowing it to turn relatively cool and fresh in scotland but further south result and temperatures holding up at maybe 18 degrees in some spots towards the south—east. getting into tomorrow and again, we have this feed of warm, humid air from the south—west and with that a lot of cloud across many parts of the country. also up to the north west we have a weather front which will start to come into play later in the day. tuesday starting off on a cloudy note for many. as we go through the day the cloud should break up bringing spells of sunshine. equally the breeze will

pick up, we will see the cloud thickening and outbreaks of rain as that weather front approaches. where we get brightness further south the temperatures can reach 27 degrees. here comes this weather front during tuesday night, a prolonged spell of heavy rain perhaps for northern ireland and scotland and during wednesday it will sink further south and east bringing rain across northern england, and into the south—west. it fizzles at this stage. the south—east of that, a lot of cloud again but some sunny spells and still someone and humidity. the further north and west you look we are starting to get fresher air. in aberdeen, glasgow and belfast 17 degrees on wednesday afternoon, compared with 27 in norwich. this weather front looks like packing up again with heavy rain here and another cold front following on behind. behind those, we get into
