mike bushell went along to find out a thing or two. ready for take—off. 84—year—old glen mills has spent over two decades in a wheelchair because of multiple sclerosis and other health problems but all that changes when she puts on her skydiving suit and throws caution to the wind. before, i was fairly set injury and there were so few things that i could do in the minute i was sad and there and felt the wind on my face, that was such a great feeling of freedom. it has changed my life completely. she has now completed over six hours flying time in the wind tunnel and says it has helped her to such an extend physically and mentally you can see how independent she has become in

here and she says she now has movement back in her knees and legs once again. you get such a high, it is almost like you are falling for me, when i get in there and i am on reliance on no one and i can turn my knees and get in and out of the chair. she then wants me struggling to match her graceful movement as i battled to keep my position and it is thought that it is having to control your body in such conditions has helped them and why the society hopes they will get more active now. i hope they will use her as inspiration, doctors would advise those with an mestalla to exercise but we now know that exercising helps. it doesn't have to be
