where we start with the tragic disappearance of argentinian footballer emiliano sala, whose plane vanished from radar on monday night. nearly two days on, and one rescuer has admitted there is "no hope" of finding the player — who's just signed for cardiff city — or his pilot, david ibbotson. guernsey police say the search has been stood down for the night. mike wilkins is there for us. well the third day of searching for this missing aircraft has come to an end here in guernsey, i am at the police where the search operation is being co—ordinated from, and it has been a very difficult day. day. they haven't found any trace of the aircraft of a liferaft, the conditions have been very difficult, we have being told there were waves up we have being told there were waves up to five metres high we prevented
