what i experience myself. when it came to the end of the month, i could see my parents were sad because they could not give us the best. they had debts and sometimes they had arguments. it meant if you wa nted they had arguments. it meant if you wanted to go out at the weekend, that was not possible and maybe there was not enough food on the table. it is something i can take strength from now. it has helped me keep my feet on the ground and remain humble and have a drive to help others. i know there are so many people in difficult situations. break dancing is being put forward for the games in paris. our sports correspondentjoins me now wearing

suitable clothing and the right footwear. this raises a lot of eyebrows. yes, in some ways, yes, and in some ways not. break dancing has come a very long way any very sharp space of time since breaking out on the streets of new york in the 19705 to being an olympic sport. when you consider it against the backdrop of the general direction of the olympic games in recent years, especially under the leadership of the president, it is not a surprise. there is a determination that the games should move with the times, they should be current and speak to younger generation. so we have seen over the winter and summer 0lympic5 attem pts over the winter and summer 0lympic5 atte m pts to over the winter and summer 0lympic5 attempts to modernise and bring in different sports, different events to reflect that. break dancing i think is very much in keeping with that desire. french organisers

will be at the dance form into my people. right now, it is underground. clearly this is a decision that has disappointed other sports. adam, what would you say to those who think it is not an olympic sport and it does not fit the 0lympic ideal. sport and it does not fit the olympic ideal. first of all, how do you define a sport? it is a physical activity. it conditions your body, keeps you healthy, keeps you fit. in that sense, it has it covered. i believe break dance is more than a sport. you look at where it came from, came from the streets, the people in the ghetto who had nothing. it was developed in the bronx. there were gang wars going on oi'i bronx. there were gang wars going on on their doorstep. this was something they created and it empowered them and give them an opportunity to leave that situation and to get out of the bronx and reach other places and neighbourhoods and become famous and become stars. to see it as a tool

not being covered by some of those sports. good luck to some of those sports, but if there is a criteria, it has to be judged sports, but if there is a criteria, it has to bejudged on sports, but if there is a criteria, it has to be judged on that and met, otherwise what is the point? thank you we appreciate your time today. that is matthew joining you we appreciate your time today. that is matthewjoining us from massachusetts. the ecb have confirmed how their new format will work when it's introduced into domestic cricket in 2020. the hundred will involve eight new city—based franchises over five weeks and these are the playing conditions announced today. 100 balls per innings, change of ends after ten balls, bowler to bowl five or ten balls, 25 ball power play, tactical time—outs for bowling side. the new competition is aimed at attracting a wider audicne this to the game and the new teams will be agreed later this year. meanwhile, england have recalled sam billings and dawid malan
