warned that access to that help is patchy. the report shows large regional variations in the amount spent by local authorities on low—level mental health support. the most is almost £18 per child in london. but compare that to around £7 in the south—east, and the lowest is around just £5 in the east of england. that means that children and parents can't rely on what is there. so, there is funding available centrally, but it is being left to local authorities and to local health ccgs, to decide how much is spent. i want much, much more scrutiny — nationally. but while some parts of the country are spending a lot less, the report did find overall spending on services, like counsellors, had risen by 17%. the aim of low—level support is to prevent mental illness from escalating and the need for hospital admissions. it's clearly much better to support a young person when problems first emerge, rather than waiting for a long time. i mean, we hear about children whose

it is the stuff of dreams. i mean, i was a fan of the books before i knew the show was ever going to get made. and then when you hear the show is getting made, i thought it was fantastic, and then finding out it was being made here was even better. the show has generated newjobs, career opportunities and an international profile for the tv and film industry. this production company has more than tripled its staff since game of thrones arrived. it has persuaded parents and colleges that the creative industries now is a very acceptable place to work, it's a very acceptable ambition to want to work in creative industries. hbo's involvement was a major reason why a government agency invested heavily in the pilot episode ten years ago. but it still felt like a bit of a gamble. it was a punt, but we knew that this was the best opportunity northern ireland was ever going to get. we'll continue to grow, it will all get bigger and better in many ways, but i don't think there will ever be

anything quite like game of thrones. the fantasy show has had a fantastic impact on northern ireland, but the question now is, who will be left standing at the end of the final season? yes, millions of viewers wondering who will triumph in the battle for the seven kingdoms. they'll find out in the next few weeks, but people in northern ireland hope the game of thrones legacy will last for many years. time for a look at the weather. here's lucy martin. hello there. a lot of dry weather around today and some sunny spells breaking through for most. this photo sent in earlier by one of our weather watchers in cumbria, you can see some good spells of sunshine above the water here. the dry weather is thanks to this area of high pressure, sitting across scandinavia. we're dragging in some cool air, though, from the north

and east around this area of high—pressure. if we take a look at that air mass, you can see we are firmly in that blue colour, that chillier feel to things. the temperatures a little bit below average as we move through the next few days. through this evening and overnight, a good deal of clear spells and dry weather. i think we will see a bit more cloud feeding into the north and east of scotland. under clear spells, we are looking at a chilly night to come. away from the north of scotland, a fairly widespread frost, the temperatures dipping below freezing for many. so, it's looking like a chilly start to the day tomorrow, but for many there will be some brightness and sunshine around. a little bit more in the way of cloud feeding into northern ireland as we move through the day. a little more cloud for north—eastern parts of scotland, where it could be thick enough for the odd spot of drizzle. some sunny spells developing here, though, that could just trigger the odd sharp shower. a little bit more cloud feeding into eastern parts of england as well. temperatures between 9—13 celsius, best of the sunshine in the west. here's how the pressure chart looks from thursday into friday, high—pressure still dominating,

keeping those weather fronts at bay, so further dry weather to come moving into friday. friday bringing slightly cloudier skies, areas of cloud but also sunny spells breaking through as well. not feeling particularly warm, however, temperatures ooler —— cooler on that eastern coast, eight or nine celsius with maximum of 11—12 celsius on friday. that takes us into the weekend, high—pressure still sat over scandinavia, continuing to drag in that cool feed of air. the weekend is still looking like it's going to be chilly. some dry weather to be had as well and some sunny spells, turning windier in the west as we move through into sunday. a good deal of dry weather for the next few days but feeling that bit cooler, with temperatures slightly below average. bye— bye.
