the pressure was high because of expectations, pressure i put on myself. having been a manager for one year at derby, i realised that on this side of the fence, the pressure is much more at whatever club you're at. and, of course, when you come to a club like chelsea, who have expectations, who have standards, who are competitive year in and year out, i understand that. so, i can't hide away from that. i wouldn't say apprehensive, i'm a realist. i understand what's wanted from me from within the club, and i'll try and deliver. we have to start with an intention to win. if i sat here and did not set that out, i don't think i should be here. because that's how it has to be. we wa nt to because that's how it has to be. we want to be playing champions league football year in, year out. for sure, that is something that should drive us all, myself and the players included. that is hard i can't sit here and say what it is. there are a number of factors this year and we want to develop and be competitive. i will not start saying league positions or whatever. again, ask me at the end of the year. let's take a look at some of the other stories around today.

four years ago, the great britain women's basketball team were almost at the point of extinction. they needed emergency funding after uk sport scrapped their investment — leaving the players fearing for the future of their sport. now, they've made history by reaching the semi—finals of the eurobasket tournament. they beat hungary 62—59 to not only give themselves a chance to reach the final, but also guarantee themselves a place in the olympic qualifying tournaments next year. it's something that we're really going for. so, for us, yeah, wejust got to stay focused and, like chema's told us the whole time, we're notjust happy to be here. we have goals and we want to achieve them, and tokyo is definitely one of them, and it's in our reach now because we made it in our reach. and finally, a european dream for a university football team ended tonight. these are students of cardiff met playing progres niederkorn
