i thought there was that might not even close to a fair contest between that and bought out the whole game, i thought there were obviously periods it got better and easier to back and we were not having the best play by any stretch and managed a certain periods very well. we got put under pressure from some good bowling from ireland and they exploited the —— they exploited the conditions on the first morning particularly well. but we found a way to win against topley we put ourselves in that position which is why we have got it and it is tough to think that we need them it knew it would be tough this morning with the lights on and be hard work and we fought our way through that first session and got to the song coming out and it could have been a

enough drama already, unbelievable scenes today at stage 19 and an avalanche caused by heavy hail blocked the road for the writers from the highest point of this year plus my tour and that meant officials were left with no choice but to abandon the race and that means there is a big change at the top. the man in the yellowjersey no longer has that honour, taken away from him by the 22—year—old colombian team, now leading this tour. welshman gary thomas down to third. dramatic scenes in the race today had to be cut short, writers we re today had to be cut short, writers were left confused and frustrated because things could not come to a conclusion. tomorrow the race starts here, the final stage in the alps before we move on to the very last stage in paris and tour de france
