celtic extended their unbeaten home run in the scottish premiership to 28 games by beating hibs 2—0. it keeps them a couple of points ahead of rangers — who'd beaten motherwell earlier in the day. nick parrott watched that one. steven gerrard spoke of building something special at rangers after extending his contract this week. he is yet to lead them to a trophy, but results in europe and the scottish premiership are improving. they had to come from behind to beat motherwell at home a few weeks ago, k/g but alfredo morelos was left frustrated on several occasions.
